Excellent, very clean room and friendly staff, great breakfast This hotel is top of the line - always clean and comfortable, and the staff (Jodi, Devin, Brenda, Brandi and Monica) are friendly and welcoming and do their job very well. The breakfast is well-stocked, and the area is kept clean. It is also easily accessible from I-10, yet it is in a quiet area. We stay here every time we go to visit family in Mississippi. Another plus is that it is only about 20 minutes from the Navarre Beach on the Gulf, so close enough to have dinner at Dewey Destin’s Seafood restaurant on the beach. HI express East Melton should be used for training all Holiday Inn properties. I highly recommend this hotel!

wasteful use of plastic and paper goods Staff at front desk were wonderful, helpful and polite!! my complaint is the sheer amount of garbage produced by the breakfasts. Everything was plastic and disposable. In this era of awareness of plastics in the Oceans and being a beach destination I found this to be just horrible. I cringed at seeing the garbage produced. I implore Hold Inn to be much more eco friendly and use less plastic. Buying a dishwasher can not be that hard!!!!

Hidden Gem We are moving my husbands’ aunt from Naples, FL to our home in Texas. Normally a 16 hour drive, towing a trailer and driving her older car, it is taking 24 hours. I picked this hotel to stop half way for the night. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. It is clean and modern, the staff was super friendly - everyone! The breakfast was great, no matter what you were in the mood for, they had it! After driving 12 hours, we were not picky, but I was pleasantly surprised. I just wanted somewhere clean and comfortable - that is what we got! His aunt sold her townhome and the closing is in January, we will need to make this trip again and will definitely be staying here once more.

Remote and Older Hotel I stayed 1 night at the Holiday Inn Express in Milton, FL while on business travel in the area. The hotel was located about 15 min from most restaurants aside from a Waffle House. I was upgraded to a suite on the top floor. The room was spacious with a king bed and couch. The hotel is older and smelled a bit musty, but everything was clean. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was decent. Overall, the stay got the job done but not much else. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay, but a single night on the road is okay.

Feels like family We came for 3 days and extended to 10! Our original plan was to stay three days and visit my daughter then move to the beach area in Pensacola, the hotel had the most amazing staff from front desk to house keepers to the morning breakfast person. The hot breakfast was very good and never empty. Val JJ and Jodie were great. Valerie was a huge help with adjusting our stay. We will definitely stay there when visiting our daughter.
