Great hotel for our brief stay We stayed at this hotel for just one night as we were going to Chicago the next day. The hotel was great. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked fine, and the breakfast was nice. It was interesting to see how the hotel makes a closet. There’s a curtain that separates an area with rods. I guess it’s a more streamlined way of having a closet without taking up much floor space.

Great staff!! Solid all-around hotel. Some improvements needed. The best part of this hotel is the staff!! Throughout our two-night stay, everyone greeted us with enthusiasm and a smile, and they helped us with whatever we needed. Marissa, who works evenings at the front desk, deserves a special shout-out; she made delicious chocolate chip cookies, was friendly, and had a sense of humor. Daniel, who was working when we arrived for an early check-in, got us settled and described the lay of the land. We were in Milwaukee for two Brewers games; the hotel is located an easy 15-minute drive from the ballpark. Good dining options and shopping are available a couple of miles away. Some areas in need of improvement are: some of the machines in the fitness center didn't work or had broken straps; the buttons on the phone in the room didn't work; the water pressure in the shower was very weak; the floor in the room was dirty; and the food at the complimentary breakfast was fair. Overall, however, we would definitely stay here again because of the attentiveness of the staff.

Check for bugs before setting luggage Found a Roach in my room. And of course this is after spending four nights and after working twelve hour shifts. So glad I packed food in advance aswell._ If your company is sending you here please have them reconsider. If you’re spending your own money for a personal getaway, don’t waste your time.

Some great management and some poor management Most of the hotel staff were great. Manager Cheryl was top notch. She obviously cared about guests, their needs and their comfort. Manager Donovan on the other hand did not. After checking out, I requested a shuttle to the airport. Another gentleman was already waiting. The guy at the desk ( who was very helpful) called Don to let him know we needed a ride. An hour and a half later, Don, who was at home no less, had not showed up. One of the housekeepers took over the front desk to enable the desk guy to drive us. When a guest has a fixed checkout time, they expect that the shuttle service offered will be available without delay. The clear message was that the manager just didn’t care about the guests.

Great Hampton Inn The hotel front desk staff is outstanding. Brandon , Ronni and Cheryl were so friendly and professional. There was a problem with the booking due to a mistake on our companies part. They resolved the issue and checked us in very quickly. What a great team and I hope they get the raises they deserve!
