One night stay walked out As soon as I walked in I could smell an odor in the air it wasn’t fresh! Rugs were filthy and there was a girl walking around w a huge dog! We were early so we waited at the pool. The pool area was disgusting, chairs broken, glass broken, bottle caps, I turned around and was not going to stay I was afraid of what the room looked like they were charging me $256 for the night! They told me they couldn’t give me my refund back only 1/2 - at that point it didn’t matter I wasn’t going to stay at a dirty hotel and worry about coming home w something.

Don’t do it!!! Worst experience EVER!!! The elevator was broke, no one called us about elevator before arrival. The hallways were musty. Husband said it was worst coffee he had tried to drink. Glad it was for only 1 night. We were offered 25% inconvenience discount, friends that checked in hour later was only offered 10%. I had to put a 1

Worst Experience Ever; Filthy! This is the WORST hotel I have stayed at. I have stayed at many IHG hotels and have enjoyed all of them as they are always clean so had not question this hotel would be different. Upon arrival, the whole hotel smelled horribly. The only good thing about this hotel was the girl at check-in (very polite and friendly.) When I got to my room, the smell of mold and smoke was awful. The bed sheets were stained, the bathroom door had a hole kicked in it, the rug had bare spots, and the kitchen area was filthy. I couldn't even stand the smell that I had to leave promptly. I went back down, the elevator was "broken," and immediately asked for my money back (which I have never done before.) I am not sure how this hotel has some good reviews. The pictures on the site are not even adequate of the way the hotel looks. I arrived late at night and had to find somewhere else to go; my car would have even been better. This is a disgrace this is an IHG hotel!

Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but I spent time in Afghanistan... Dirty, dirty, dirty. Everything is run down and loud. Pictures on the site must be 20 years old and nothing has been kept up since. Elevator call button was broken for at least three days, and you had to call front desk and hope they answered and sent it up or take the stairs with plaster falling off the walls and hadn't been cleaned up. Floor had not been vacuumed. Hall carpets were stained and dirty. A shirtless man was sitting in the hallway when we checked in watching something on his phone. He was still there an hour later. Halls and room smelled moldy and nothing was clean. The glasses in the cupboard were dirty. Outdoor garbage cans were overflowing all weekend. Groups of men were hanging out drinking in the parking lot. This is in a great location geography wise, and we go to Destin often, but we will never even consider it again. Wouldn't have stayed this time except we arrived late, and I have a concealed carry permit.

Dirty, run-down, smelly, poor service. We had a reservation base on pictures online; they were not accurate at all. Our room was dirty, there was dust and mold in the vents and A/C and around the windows, the phone and other items in the room did not work, and the hallways were smelly and hot. The furniture in the room was beat looking. We cancelled after the first night (a 7-night stay) and went to a different hotel. I cannot believe this is an IHG hotel. It's terrible, and very overpriced for the quality. ALSO, the desk manager charged our card for the full 7 nights' stay before we even checked in; this was not an "authorization" charge, but a REAL charge, and it had to be refunded when we checked out. After spending an hour on the phone with customer service complaining about the crappy quality, all my wife got was a "sorry". That's all one ever gets anymore; so much for quality guarantees at IHG hotels. After staying at two bad IHG hotels in a row, we will never do so again. It's Hilton and Marriott from here on out.
