Comfort Inn

Not so great So so hotel. Looks like an older property they tried to update. Odd floor plan with no rooms on first floor. Inconvenient to unload and unload luggage. Worn out bath walls with rust on the ceiling. Breakfast was but we'd never stay there again

Extremely comfortable Reasonably priced but beautiful, well equipped room with exceptional breakfast. Everything had been upgraded to levels I have rarely seen in a traveler's hotel. Staff was efficient and attentive. Room was exceptionally comfortable. Staff recommended a wonderful family restraint within walking distance

Great room, but the Train!??? Very clean bedrooms. This was the cleanest room I have ever seen & I clean houses for a living. We were in a “pet friendly room” & I had no idea what to expect. Was given a blanket to cover the chair in the room to prevent cat hair. I covered other surfaces just in case, but my cats were great. Tile floor in bathroom was the only criticism. Oh & I almost forgot, the TRAIN!! Basically right next door. Would’ve probably have chosen a different place farther away if just one review had mentioned that fact. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices of hot or cold foods. Building could’ve been cleaner, corners, etc, rugs straightened & not wrinkled to make trip hazards in the single elevator. Night check in reception person didn’t appear like he was staff @ all except a name tag. Jeans & long tshirt. Not what I expected, but morning staff looked great. More what I would expect for a room charging over $250/night! Pool is outdoors & a walk away. Didn’t use. Husband took a small walk out a gated, fenced path, but with fading daylight he couldn’t tell if it was a viable path or not & followed the fence. When a stray cat ran by & disappeared over an embankment ( which he was glad of that warning!) he turned back. He had followed the fence with his hand the whole way. So something should have been posted on the gate. Also lots of bikes available to use too. Would I stay here again? Probably not because of the train & lack of sleep, but clean rooms!

Surprisingly good! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room. Large bathroom with enough counter space, extra-huge shower, very clean. Heated and lit toilet seat! Comfortable beds, good TV selection with excellent picture. Fast wifi connection. Tons of outlets. Breakfast had good choices for every palate.

Interesting Comfort inn While we have stayed at this property years ago under a different chains brand, it retains many of the features of its former brand. It says Comfort Inn on the signage but internally it doesn’t have the same general feel as most of the brand we’ve stayed at (100s of different locations over the years) While the furniture and interiors feel like its former brand, beds and bedding, bathroom soap/shampoos are all standard Comfort in fare…. Think going into a nicer chain sit down restaurant, that used to be a high end steakhouse but seeing them serve or package things like a fast food place. It feels a bit off to me. That all being said the facility is nice, clean and comfortable and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice walk in shower, room layout nice (but not typical Comfort Inn style/layout) Breakfast needs improvements. Breakfast area is small very limited seating and the food….well let’s just say we ate breakfast elsewhere after trying it. While the potatoes were ‘warm’ and real potatoes they tasted rewarmed and almost mushy for the wedge style they were, eggs tasted like bad powdered eggs, they had sausages links as well which were just ok. Also have some microwaveable breakfast options and the standard dry fare. I feel this property should have gone with a different Choice branding, as it does seem based on many reviews it gets confused with the other Comfort on the other side of town. A solid stay, no issues, though we will try other places in town next time, for perspective.
