Welcoming Stop Hotel lived up to the Hilton name. We were greeted by Melvin at the front desk with a welcoming smile and very professional service. He made us feel like long time friends. We usually stay at these hotels during road trips and this trip just reaffirmed why. The room was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We decided to just eat dinner at the hotel after a long day of driving and we weren’t disappointed. Although the menu offerings are limited I think most people could find something to their liking. Our server was a gentleman by the name of Drey, and he was definitely an assist to the Hilton team. He was very friendly, engaging and my husband said he made a great Bloody Mary. He knew his job and did it exceedingly well. All in all a great trip. I highly recommend for your next trip to the area.

Excellent Angela and Stanley are ambassadors for your brand! They made me feel so welcome tonight and like I had seen some friends from long ago. The room is nice and the location is great. Montgomery is a nice town. I would definitely recommend this location.

Not Up to Hilton Standards My wife and I stayed in this hotel one night while in Montgomery. It is in a convenient location near the highway and has numerous restaurants within a short drive. So why the lower rating? First, we were not impressed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel. This included the room (where there were crumbs on the nightstand) and public areas (floor of the elevator not cleaned during our entire stay). Second, although the hotel is “non-smoking,” they allow smoking in many areas. When we tried to sit out near the pool, there were smokers stinking the place up. When we went across the lobby to sit outside on tables/chairs near the restaurant, what do you know? More smokers! In other words, if you are a non-smoker, don’t expect to enjoy the outside areas. Lastly, when we went down to breakfast around 8:30 am, there was no one there! We started helping ourselves to the breakfast buffet (which was out of many items). Finally, after 10 minutes, my wife had to go to the main reception desk and ask if there was anyone working the buffet. The receptionist has to go find someone who finally came out. She said that there was an event going on that morning and that was why she wasn’t there and why the buffet wasn’t stocked (no bowls, no food items, etc.). Overall, we were not impressed with this HGI and most likely would not stay here again while in the Montgomery area.

“Breakfast Postponed” This hotel and the Homewood Suites are tucked into an office park with is convenient to highways and restaurants The front desk staff was friendly and made a great suggestion for restaurants nearby. As a Hilton Diamond member I was upgraded to a suite with a couch. The hotel was clean with a spacious beautiful lobby. There is free parking. My only complaint was breakfast. At 5:50am there was a sign stating “ Breakfast postponed due to personnel issues” By 6:15 there was bagels, juice, toast. There was cereal but no bowls. By 6:50 the coffee was empty.. One reason I booked this hotel was to have a hot breakfast. The hotel was not very busy on this weekday morning. One employee should have been able to keep a continental breakfast stocked. Breakfast was my only complaint

Matthew is a gem! Matthew at the front desk was amazing and so professional! The a/c in my room was very loud. I told Matthew about it and he switched my room immediately with a smile. He was so nice every time I saw him in the lobby. The other employees always smiled and said hello. I always choose Hilton when I travel because the room is always clean and the beds and bedding are so comfy! Thanks Hilton!
