great experience Normally I stay at more upscale hotels, but this trip I needed to be close to betel woods art center, and my to my surprise the stay was very comforting, clean rooms nice breakfast every morning. Though there was problems with my trip plans had to change, but I have to say the young ladies at the desk. Lea, and Jennifer made my stay fun and extremely enjoyable. And the cook I believe his name is Glenn cool dude thank you Lea and Jennifer:

Standard Hampton. No complaints. A standard Hampton Inn. It was well maintained. The bathroom was clean and shampoo etc. bottles were filled. The bed was relatively comfortable although the air conditioner was a little loud. Staff was efficient and friendly. No issues with this hotel.

No room at the inn Reservations made months in advance. Checked in around 5 pm and was given a room already occupied. Returned to front desk and was told they were full and didn't have a room for me. Didn't offer to find another hotel for me or give me any options. In town for business and wound up staying an hour away. Beware!

Wifi woes & stuck up staff Consistently terrible internet connection. This is the second time I've had to stay here for work in the last two months. I stay at Hamptons across the US and have never had the shoddy internet connection like the one here. The front desk has an attitude about it and automatically blamed me and my hardware because their cell phone was working fine (on the lobby wifi that doesn't reach our rooms). I contacted corporate about ot who assured me they'd look into it. 2 months later I'm back and have the exact same problem and with the exact same employee. The internet is bad enough that it may as well not exist at all. It takes 15 minutes to load q single website, if it loads at all. It disconnects and reconnects regularly, interrupting what little connection there is. I need to have my company blacklist this hotel.

Your best option in Monticello must be somewhere else There are few options for hotels in Monticello, and this seemed like the best one (and probably was ), but for nearly $200/night I did expect more. My room was musty smelling, comforter was either old and worn or needed serious cleaning, no soap for showering, no ice machine on my floor even though signage says there was (looked like there had been one there but was gone/broken). I know I'm complaining, but it was nearly $200 for the night ...
