One of the Best Red Roof Inns been too! From the Lobby to the room, all clean and well kept. The room seemed all "new" including the floor, furniture and AC unit. This is one of the nicest and cleanest Red Roofs I have been at to-date! This is a inexpensive and great stay in Dayton South, will be back!

Great Value. Clean Room. Right off I-75! Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because the location is quite a ways from any dining choices. Yes it’s an older Red Roof but the exterior was OK and the lobby and our room had recently been updated. Our room was clean, we had no complaints. It is in an industrial area which to me made it safer because there weren’t loiterers hanging around the area as there sometimes are in a more populated part of town. We will stay again if in the area.

Bad taste for Red Roof and Dayton OHIO This motel was the most unfriendly motel I have ever encountered. Our booking was via a third party booking platform and for some reason (we have had multiple explanations from all parties) we were not given a room (despite having a receipt). The location is in industrial area the car park was completely empty even at 5.30pm??? When I asked if there were other rooms we could actually pay for they said "yes" but did not actually offer them to us, so we left. Would avoid Dayton altogether. Note 98% of our bookings from LA to Washington were via a third party and all were perfect except for this one.

Pack a lunch A bit shabby even for a Red Roof. However, the room was clean and everything worked. It is not near any place to eat, though, and there is no breakfast. Very reasonable rates, which helps. Seems to be understaffed, at least at the desk; very harried employee there.

Pleasantly Surprised We were put off by some of the recent poor reviews, but decided this was the best option for our night in the area. What a pleasant surprise. The room was spotless and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent sleep. Our only complaint would be that the exterior wall was very thin, and we could hear doors being slammed in other rooms. It seems many other people complained about the area. Yes, the motel is located in an industrial zone just off the interstate. Nobody will be coming here for their summer holidays. And that is fine, because this establishment is perfect for a one-night stop, on a trip to somewhere else.
