Great location and comfortable accommodations. Best of ALL worlds. The view of the Grand Tetons at sunset is amazing. An amazing lodge, in the beautiful Grand Tetons national park. Great views and great location. Only an 30 mins from Jenny Lake, 45 mins to National museum of wildlife art, and 1 hr. from Jackson hole, WY. A very central location. The cabins (rooms) are clean, and comfortable. And it’s close to the central kitchen.

Fabulous experience We had a fabulous time celebrating my 60th birthday. Holly and the front office staff made our stay very memorable. The room was very nice and we enjoyed the view. We saw some wildlife from our balcony. The restaurants and staff were great as well.

Perfect Lake Jackson Lodge Everything about the Jackson Lake Lodge is perfect - a beautiful facility; stunning views; superior service; and exceptional fine, casual, and fun dining. Lake Jackson Lodge is my favorite National Park Lodge. Xanterra should learn how to properly provide quality services in National Parks from the Grand Teton Lodge Company.

Excessively Expensive for excuses, substandard food and beverage services, and closed activities. My husband and I have wanted to stay at Jackson Lake Lodge for years. It was a bucket List item. Sadly we were greatly disappointed. The Lodge needs a lot of updating, upkeep, and new management. We had originally made reservations for two view rooms in the spring (a year in advance) but changed then to the fall following or daughter's wedding in the area. We reserve a Moose Pond View, 1 King ($732.60/nt) and Mountain View Cottage, 2 doubles ($691.53/nt). What should the expectations be for these rooms? Both rooms were very basic. Amenities in each room: a small refrigeration, a single serve Keurig with several pods, and a safe (placed in plain sight). There was no microwave, TV, or radio. All other standard amenities (soaps etc) were included. The rooms are quiet small. The booking pictures make them look bigger. We had preferred second story with balcony. We were told "these aren't available" after booking so far in advance. Both rooms were ground kennel in the middle of the buildings. Directly following Labor day the Lodge closes down many of their activities (only horseback riding was available). Their "grill" was closed so there was very limited food offerings at the Blue Heron Lounge. However the Diner was in full operation. Why say the "grill is closed." We also ate at the Mural Room and utilized the coffee bar. The coffee bar was the only good food/drink we experienced during our stay. To add insult to injury the Consessioner contracted by the National Parks Service provided nothing but excuses and blame the NPS for our room reservation request not being honored and "It's the end of the season." I guess quality doesn't matter at the beginning and end of the season (we visited the Lodge in May '24 and activities and "the grill" weren't available then either). With quality not "being their responsibility when open for business" you still must pay full rates for???????. Never again.

A disappointment The lodge is huge. The main building is massive with spectacular views of the mountains and lakes. However, when we were there it was overcrowded, especially in the eating areas, and this detracted from the experience. The lodgings are spread out. Our room, and by all accounts some other guests felt the same, badly needed renovation and lacked facilities. For example, we only received housekeeping every other day. It seems that if you are on an upper level, the views are so good it’s worth it. But we were in a ground floor cabin. We found the staff unhelpful at times. For example, they wanted us to sit in a remote part of the large dining area furthermost from the food. Why? Who knows. At breakfast, only one toaster was provided generating a long queue. One expects better service and facilities at the prices charged.
