Fifth visit and looking forward to returning This was approximately our fifth visit to the Winvian and we took Stone and CT Yankee as a gift for family. The cottages were terrific and full of character. We stayed two nights each and had dinner on the first. The food is outstanding and features great use of the fresh herbs from the garden. The service is relaxed, professional and friendly. Breakfast is equally good. There are very few negatives about the Winvian - some areas of the cottages need investment and it is extremely expensive but we are looking forward to returning which says it all.

great little romantic getaway We loved our stay in the Music cottage. The staff and service were excellent and all the little touches made it a wonderful stay. The food in particular was exquisite. Overall a great little romantic getaway. We enjoyed the spa as well as the grounds. Would recommend that they add a few more seating areas and outdoor games around the main house

Disappointed Arranged to have Sunday dinner at noon only to find we only had the tavern menu. Our meal was alright but certainly not worth the expense. I don’t mind paying top dollar when the meal I exceptional but this did not come up to that level. I can’t say based on our experience that I could recommend it.

Wonderful Experience and Dining. A destination for sure! We stayed in Woodlands cottage and also had dinner in the restaurant. It was an experience and definitely a destination. The cottage was well cleaned and fun with a backyard porch and chairs. Jacuzzi tub and rain shower with river rocks was a hard choice! The double fireplace facing the bedroom and living room was so relaxing. The grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained and love the idea of so many themed cottages. Dinner was amazing. Each dish presented with the utmost care and it was a treat to taste so many fresh herbs and fish. We cannot say enough about Winvian property and exquisite dinner. It's a must do again!

Awesome Stay We had an incredible stay at Winvian! We were in the Beaver Cottage which was a rustic but luxurious cabin. We enjoyed the food at Maggie's Tavern, Winvian Farm Restaurant and participated in a stained glass making class and had s'mores after dinner one night. Their spa services are top notch and have couples massages in a room with a fireplace and champagne afterwards. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful with Anthony, Christina, and Rachel being particular standouts. We look forward to returning!
