Sonesta Select Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville

Nice business hotel (used to be a Marriott Courtyard) This property used to be a Marriott Courtyard and is now a Sonesta Select - which is a new hotel brand. Many staff are veteran Marriott employees - professionals! The person who checked us in and Mindy were wonderful. We also received a welcome bag w water and a packaged cookie since we registered to be a member with Sonesta. The room was very clean and had great beds and an ergonomic desk - you could pull out a lower section for my keyboard and mouse. I appreciated this! The lobby has an area where they used to sell breakfast and drinks before COVID. However, they aren’t offering any food now. They said it might happen in the future. Right now they have free hot coffee and tea in the morning and iced water w lemon throughout the day. They also have an area near the reception desk where they sell snacks and drinks, including alcohol. We ended up walking 3 minutes to Wendy’s for breakfast sandwiches. Later, we walked to Wendy’s for lunch. You have to drive to get to other food options. There was a good variety of seating arrangements with outlets and tables and sofas in the lobby. There’s an outdoor pool and tables in a courtyard area. This is very close to the airport. It was quiet at night but we began to hear many flights around 8 am. Tip: You can book a room at Sonesta ES across the street for rooms with kitchens and free breakfasts. That used to be a Marriott Residence Inn. It was a pretty good value for the room but I wish they had breakfast food.

It was fine It’s a place to stay, appeared clean and was quiet. It did require keycard access at night, so that’s a plus. Not even a continental breakfast, had a for purchase snack bar type option. Parking is lacking.

Decent one night stay The pillows are little bit bigger than usual cheap hotels and the airport shuttle is the asset. Bench in front or back of hotel will help. But, they did not have any of them. So, yeah, that's the only minus I can count. Decently professional stuff, large parking lot

Great experience with clean room and friendly service Excellent experience all way around. The reception desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and had everything needed. Beds and pillows were comfy. Was able to leave our vehicle in a handicap space (with a handicap parking pass of course!) while we were on our trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortablr Sleep Booked overnight before a morning flight and to take advantage of the parking. The staff was extra-friendly and the bed was very comfortable. I have found my new go-to hotel when overnighting before a trip.
