Horrible Stay Checked into the hotel and was going to use the fitness center. The ropes were all ripped and it smelled really bad in the room. Going to the 4th floor it was very muggy and hot, significantly uncomfortable upstairs. When we entered our room the pull out couch was out, all the pillows from the chairs were all over the floor, the bed was taken apart, the mattresses against the wall&tv and then small trash all over the floor. When we expressed this and asked for a new room, the clerk just said oh they’re working on it. And that was that. We stay here whenever our flights are cancelled and planned to in the future but we’re never coming back again. Disgusting

Do not recommend. Nice and spacious room. But hotel is terrible. Pool and spa all out of service with no communication about it. Breakfast was pathetic with paper plates and not enough cutlery. No hot water for tea, literally 3 teabags for the whole of breakfast. Nothing in the store to buy (no inventory), staff super unhelpful ("sorry I don't do that), no soap in the room, things look old and unclean, and then the elevator was out of service too. And they're just not apologetic about anything. Husband has a down feather allergy and the hotel said they defeathered the room and when we got there they didn't understand what we were asking for (no one checked ahead of time). Do not recommend unless you just need to sleep somewhere for a few hours. 5 min away from airport no shuttle from there - $15 taxi.

Where To Begin… First, the PROS Bed linens were clean and soft Shower and tub were very clean Staff is very nice Room was large Oh boy… the CONS Bad odor Dirty, cracked lampshades Worn, dirty furniture Windows and windowsills dirty Rusty door hinges HVAC grills were filthy. Drapes stained. Don’t look too closely! We arrived late after a long flight. The staff was really nice, it was easy to park, and the parking lot was well lit. When we got into the room, we were overwhelmed by a very strong odor—hard to describe, kind of a strong chemical/mothball/B.O. combo. We turned the thermostats on to get air flow, which seemed to help. After settling into bed, the smell became overpowering, but it was the middle of the night and and we didn’t want to pack up and change rooms, so we went on a hunt to find the source. Well, we sure found it! The strong odor was emanating from a fixed “wooden” vase the room. We covered it and wrapped it with a plastic laundry bag and towels. Not sure what was in there. Covering it helped. After finding the source of the caustic odor, we tried to get a little rest. Not easy here. The housekeeping staff was really nice when we alerted them to the odor problem in the morning. But that didn’t fix the rough night. We didn’t try the breakfast. We had to get out. We have spent a lot of time at the Cambria hotel in Napa, California.

Better alternatives nearby...... Cambria used to be a wonderful hotel but this location has certainly gone done hill. Dirty and unkept, run by young staff that evidently are in over their heads. Called for the shuttle when we returned from Italy and no one answered so we paid $20 for a taxi. Will make it a point NOT to stay there again.

Find another hotel in the area. This is one of the most disappointing hotels we have stayed at. The rooms are in serious need of a refresh. When we came into the room, the lighting was dismal, and the lamp shade was cracked in multiple places. Additionally, the leather or vinyl desk chair and other furniture were greatly worn. The beds were clean and reasonably comfortable but that was about it. I also had to turn up the thermostat high to get enough warmth in the room - not sure why that was. The lobby looked fine and the front staff was pleasant and helpful. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Lastly, we had a family above our room where it seemed as if a kid was running across the room late into the night. We called the front staff but that did not seem to help much. That may have been something a bit outside of the control of the staff, but that also worsened our overall experience.
