Baymont by Wyndham Morton

Clean and comfortable The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Cleanliness A++. There was no mold in the bathroom. But the shower and toilet area is really small. The pool is small but very clean. It’s a Great for an overnight stay. I Definitely would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. VERY CLEAN Extremely clean hotel run by a very nice family. Extremely courteous. Comfortable KING SIZE bed. Nice room. Large flat screen tv. Nice breakfast. Coffee machine made 7 different kinds of hot drinks that were great. Really nice indoor pool. A great $ rate. Only negative was the fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. Would certainly stay here again. Rested well

Disppointing Stay on Many Levels Friend and I were spending a long weekend in the Peoria area, so we chose this hotel based on its location and other amenities. Unfortunately, our stay proved to be far less optimal than we had anticipated. Both our check-in and check-out experiences were delayed and more convoluted than needed; check-in delayed due to other guests’ reservations being messed up and check-out taking 20+ minutes trying to find an actual available employee. Halfway through our weekend, they deactivated our room keys, so we had to straighten that out when we got back from a hot and busy day. Our room was spacious and clean, but it seemed like the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The room was consistently warm and muggy despite lowering the thermostat. Beds were decent, and the mattresses and pillows were fairly comfortable. We were at the far end of the hall, but noise was still a bit of an issue. On one evening, we had people walking through the hallway and pounding on the doors. Amenities were somewhat lackluster. We tried having breakfast on one of the mornings, but there were numerous issues with it. Juice machine was incorrectly set-up, so we started by drinking the water used to flush out the machine (versus the actual juice). The muffins and bagel had ants crawling all over them so we didn’t partake of those.

Warm and muggy and filled with ants Have never had an issue with Wyndham hotels but our stay at the Baymont was not what we thought it was going to be. When we first got there the room was very hot. The Air conditioner was not turned on when we got in the room and it took a long time to cool the room down. The room was filled with tiny little ants that were on everything including the bed. And then when brought up to the front desk we were told sorry and given $10 back off our $110 room. Very disappointed.

Best value in Morton Recently had my 5th stay at this hotel in Morton. It's by far the best value in town. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, extremely clean and spacious. The staff are very warm and helpful. Only one slight downside is that if you're not out of your room by 9-9:30am you won't get housekeeping service that day. One day of our stay Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:05am. I understand, though, that likely 99% of their guests have left by then and they're short staffed like everyone. So I do highly recommend staying here! I also ~love~ that they keep the Nescafe machine on all the time, and that they don't rush you out right at 9am when breakfast
