Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Muskogee by IHG

Will never stay here again They need to clean better! Mildew smells are bad. Floors are dirty. Front desk was rude. Hotel could definitely use some updating. No towels or shower curtain in room and phone in room didn’t work ………

Horrible!!!! First of all before I walked in the building it ranked of marijuana and the front desk lady, I think her name was Amanda, was so unprofessional and rude. I think she was on something idk it was weird. Rooms are not cleaned properly obviously because my feet were black after walking on the floors in the room. The humidity in the building is so bad that my sheets and blankets felt damp, not to mention they had stains all over them. Air conditioner was filthy and when I turned it on it stinks horribly like mildew. There was a plastic bag taped over the fire alarm (that was really weird also). The drains were leaking black ick out the pipes under the bathroom sink. They said maintenance was going to come and fix the issue and never did. There is mold in the bathroom. There were presents of mold and cracks on the walls and ceiling, and you can tell it was just painted over. The balcony is leaking or something turning the valance brown when they are supposed to be white. If you walk down the hallways you can see the stains from spills that's never cleaned. I requested a different room and was told that they are not aloud to switch me rooms. Absolute worst hotel experience of my life!

Very Good Stay This was the first stop on a 12-day trip through the Dakotas coming from Texas. It was a very good stop. Advance check-in worked beautifully, and the nice clerk even called the room to make sure everything was OK. The room was spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable with real pillows; not the matchbox-size ones so many chains use. While the pool, hot tub, and sauna were available, the AC was missing a part, and that area was extremely humid. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a good location, and we would stay here again.

No Reservation We had reserved a room at a budget hotel in another city. When we checked into the room at that hotel, it was awful. Moved us to a different room and it was just as bad. Cancelled that hotel and drove until we found an IHG hotel (approx 100 mi). We frequently stay at IHG and this hotel is what you expect to find. Friendly & professional check-in, convenient location. clean and well appointed room. Comfy king bed and a good breakfast. Don't waste your time on low budget hotels, even if their reviews are good.

just like home This hotel is awesome I stay here for work all the time. The staff treat you like family. Latisha on the front desk is freaking amazing. She can always solve a problem you might have rather than having to tell you to wait till next day for management. Shes on top of it and she cares about the guest
