Sea Watch Resort

Worthy place to stay North Tower, 1611. Room was ready early. Went through pre-registration online so check-in process was quick. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of bell stand carts available. Check-in parking has limited but sufficient short term spots. Regular onsite parking is plentiful both inside and outdoors but the spaces themselves are tight. Very good view of ocean from inside and on patio (2 chairs, small table) of this advertised "ocean view" condo. Room was clean and equipped with 2's _, 2 king beds in front bedroom, pull down bed in the ocean side living room, and 2 small closets. 1 of the king beds is crammed next to a closet so it's a squeeze to get to it. Numerous furniture items are dated but functional. Kitchen area is small but comes with a refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, ice maker (not needed since ice machine about 50' away), plates, glassware, and utensils, coffee maker, disposal, closet, and the temperature control. Bathroom is small but has shower/ tub, hair blower, and limited towels. Can request more but bring your own toiletry items. Building itself has 4 elevators, restaurant (service good, food so-so), arcade and fitness rooms, and gift shop. The laundry room is very small with only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers to service the entire building. Multiple pools that are clean and safe. Poolside bars with DJ at times. Great beach accessibility. Checkout is quick and easy. Overall a worthwhile resort to stay at.

Great place stay We really enjoy staying at Seawatch. This is our go to place when we travel to Myrtle Beach. The resort is located in a nice area, nice restaurants and shopping close by.

Its ok but has problems We liked and disliked this resort. We usually stay at Tilghman beach and golf resort further north and is a beautiful resort and lets you book rooms based on how nice the owners keep them which this resort should do. We checked in to the north tower and were given a room on the 9th floor and this one bedroom was FILTHY. It smelled horrible! Dust in the ceiling the couch and chair had stains the dresser drawer was falling out the room was just in bad shape the kitchen cabinets and countertops were bad even the phones were filthy which I noticed when I called the front desk to ask for another room. We were given another room on the 4th floor and soon as we walked in it smelled better. The kitchen was updated a bit with better countertops and appliances the couch and chair were nicer the only problem with this room was there was black hair every where. In the bed linens, in the bathroom, on the floor. We cleaned the room and stayed in it since it was way better than the first room. Side note when I called to ask for another room I heard an employee in the background saying to the person I was on the phone with “I believe him too because our cleaning crew sucks”. The pools are great although packed but that’s to be expected in a resort this size. The lazy river at the north tower had trash floating in it every day we were there 4 days. The tiki bar was great. The restaurant was just ok for breakfast. The employees were very nice. This resort is right on the beach and was so great just to walk out to the beach. We would return if we could see the rooms online with pics of the real rooms not stock photos and book a specific room in order not to get one of the run down ones. I think the south tower and the other buildings are different from what they called the hotel which is the north tower.

Weekend stay Seawatch resorts are wonderful, especially in the cafe area, the waiter Canaan was very polite and informative about everything the restaurant and resort had to offer, if your ever in the area of North Myrtle Beach, Seawatch resorts is the best place to stay and eat, Ask for Canaan, he is absolutely wonderful.
