Not clean. Poor customer service Initially the hotel looked great. But I wasn’t able to get an early check in and when I finally did my room was not properly cleaned. There were clothes left in the closet and a massive spider web! I had to change rooms at 2am!!! The evening manager did not communicate a discount to the staff and the day shift manager was no help. I should not have had to pay full price for a dirty room and the inconvenience of switching rooms.

No Frills, Old-Fashioned Hotel Looks as pictured. I was hoping the hotel was undergoing renovations and that the pictures were old. They are true to the current time. Bed linens were clean. Other furniture was very worn (couch, chair). Our room did not have any dressers to store clothes, just a small wardrobe closet. Random splashes on the walls. No towel bars or hooks to hang towels. Coffee machine and ice bucket shared the same counter as the bathroom sink, so maneuvering to do hair was a challenge. I appreciate how spacious the mini fridge was and that the room had a microwave. We purchased bleach to clean the hot tub with because the jets appeared dirty. Housekeeping was nice. Did not speak English but, nevertheless the exchange was pleasant and they were quick with handling what we needed done. Breakfast room kind of crowded. Limited options in my opinion. There was construction going on near our room, in which I was woken up to move my vehicle. They were working on a lift above my car as well as my family member’s car who was not in her room at the time and unable to move her vehicle. Thankfully, they allowed me to enter her room to get her keys to move the vehicle. I was very upset about this. We should have been notified of the building construction/maintenance before it even began, so that we could move our cars then. We had building debris and some glue/caulk on our cars. I’m also noticed a crack on my windshield after moving and inspecting my vehicle. The front desk staff was not the friendliest and did not take my concerns seriously regarding the debris and other car issues. I was told that “I’ll let them know.” I don’t know who the desk attendant was even referring to. Parking $20 a night. You have to wait for security guards to get up and move the cones for you to enter or exit at night. No central air and heat in our room. Only one unit to cool/heat entire space. Says it’s controlled by wall thermostat but, there was no wall thermostat. We had to turn our air all the way down for the room to cool off. We had a bigger double room with the couch area. My stay was okay. My rating would be lower if it were not for the location. Easy access to major highways and broadway. Accessible to bars across the street. Plenty of activities nearby. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay. Next time, I will just spend the extra money to stay somewhere more up to date. This place appears to be a motel undergoing renovations to become a hotel. I wish them luck with upgrading.

Comfort In(deed)! Impulse trip to Nashville and this seemed good value last minute. Facilities a bit basic but very clean with efficient and welcoming staff. Included breakfast was varied and plentiful and I particularly liked the omelette station. Didn’t use the pool or gym but both very popular with other guests. Don’t miss the complimentary massage chairs in the lobby. Great after a day’s exploring.

Some good, some bad The location of this hotel is excellent relative to downtown Nashville and is easy to get to other sites by car or Uber. Overall though the property feels very dated and rundown. The wifi was very spotty, i had several times I couldn’t connect. The carpets were very dirty, lots of debris on them when we checked in and were not vacuumed throughout our stay. The breakfast options were excellent. There were lots of hot and cold items to choose from and an omelette bar too. They also had complimentary water and iced tea in the lobby and little chocolates which was a nice touch. There is on site self parking and we felt very safe in the area. For the cost though, I think you can get cleaner, more updated rooms in the same area so would not likely stay again.
