Real sketchy My son and I did not feel safe staying at the hotel. So we had to find somewhere else to stay. People were doing drugs outside, they were approaching our car and then followed me into the hotel. Also, they are doing construction but that it not said on the sight.

After decades of staying here, I'm done. Moving on. I've stayed at this Super8 since the 1980's. It's always been so-so but fairly nice. Or, acceptable. Last year, I drove a little farther and spent a little more to stay at a Comfort Inn. Much nicer! This year, I went back to Super 8 to save money. Let's just say that when my work brought me back for another three night stay a few days later, I decided to spend more money and take my business back to Comfort Inn. This Super8 just has a feel of... well... not a place I'd take my wife and questionable that I'd take my industrial crew. What made this stay worse is we were without hot water for two days! Granted, it was a weekend but they clearly didn't have a plumber on call. Imagine searing for a plumber on the weekend! My room had a chair but the back cushion was missing. No clock, either. All in all, it was barely adequate.

Terrible Beds were terrible 1 was hard as a rock the other had a big dent in the middle from being worn out. Cigarette burns on the comforter hallway smells of weed. This is the worst hotel we’ve ever been to, so bad my wife and daughter went to another hotel to stay

Adequate but not anything to go back to. Hotel did not appear old from exterior nor from the reception area. The front desk was extremely nice and gave a great first impression walking in. The hotel is old with very thin walls. The beds were somewhat comfortable but we’re not the quality I have been accustomed to with other Super 8 stays. This was old school sheet, thin blanket and old style bed spread that reminded me of an oilcloth table cover. The room appeared clean but it was small with no closet just a place to hang your clothes overhanging where the chair sat. I loved the air conditioner as it was almost silent and worked great. The door was marked and looked like at some point it had been pried open. When initially walking into the room it had a musty smell but dissipated quickly when I turned the AC on. From that point it was down hill. The walls are paper thin and every guest after we got to our room was loud. The people upstairs were having a stomp contest. Things finally quieted down around 11:30. The next night the room next to us left their TV on, not horribly loud but just enough to keep me from sleeping soundly. Would I go back ? Only if it was the last place in Natchitoches that had a room. We are bringing our camper next time we visit.
