Clean, quiet, and welcoming staff Contrary to the horrible reviews which almost made me cancel, my stay was nothing but pleasant. The hotel was clean and bright, my room and bathroom were spotless. Although the motel rests near the highway, my room on the 3rd floor in the front was quiet for sleeping. The hotel was pretty full and I had neighbors, but I heard no one and slept great. The pool and hot tub were functioning and looked and smelled clean (I didn't use) and the did serve a real breakfast (eggs and sausage) which was ok...typical Fairfield. I ate on the patio outdoors. No oatmeal or muffins. The front desk gentleman was very welcoming and gave advice for dinner. (2 restaurants within 3 minutes). I was there for one night and found it to be up to Marriott, Fairfield standards.

Horrible Horrible. Dangerous area- we walked to the nearby restaurant for food and someone accosted us. Thankful we had our dog. Next morning music was blaring from a group of cars in adjacent MOTEL 6 parking lot. Staff is fine. Breakfast offered was nothing like other Fairfield’s I’ve stayed at - limited at best. Find elsewhere. The Express across street looked bettee

Deplorable except for the homeless. I can recommend this hotel if your are homeless. My stay was the 2nd time during the pandemic and it has only worsened. The check-in was hardly seamless with confusing directions, smelly room, and a broken swimming pool. The worst are the same tiny towels used 50 years ago in your college gym; and the pitiful bagged breakfast (water, orange, midget loaf bread, and energy bar). They will not clean your room unless you stay seven days, and why would you? It is deplorable and hardly reflects Marriott brand. You have other options next door.

Go somewhere else Had to use this hotel for a lacrosse tournament. First room smelt funky, bathroom full of mold, and crumbs on the floor - and if they're not vacuuming, they're not cleaning nearly good enough in this Covid environment. Second room (refused to stay in first room) had cobwebs on the wall & ceilings - just a generally dirty room. No maid service for our 2 night stay - had to bring bath towels to the front desk to exchange them. Generally a poorly managed and dirty hotel - there's better and cheaper places to stay in the area.

Noisy, Weird Shower, Rock Pillows - but otherwise great I think the staff do a great job with what they’ve got - very nice, rooms are clean etc. unfortunately they are working with some structural deficiencies. The hotel is right next to a highway which is manageable, but they have very old single pane Windows that act more like speakers than barriers. A good set of double pane Windows with a gap could stop the noise, but as is you spend the night listening to the big rig breakers grunting. The shower head is weird - it has two settings. Setting one attempts to spray water wide enough to hit California from PA, but no water for you - the human standing there. Setting two somehow gets none of the amazing pressure setting one has, and dribbles water down in the middle - the water comes out of the head and drops straight down like a rock - you can therefore huddle up close under the shower head to gain the blessing of its lukewarm offerings. The pillows come in three options - napkin thin, thick hard Boulder, or fantastic - with four family members it was unfortunately the case that only one was of the “fantastic” variety and quickly stolen by our five year old girl. Nice folks, just not my thing.
