Intimate Boutique Hotel Near Everything I do not know where to begin because I had such a great experience from the moment I stepped into the small, elegant, uniquely styled lobby. Very intimate. Check in was a breeze. Charmaine was friendly, knowledgeable and personable. I checked in alone although some family members were staying at the hotel also. Charmaine made certain I had a great room. I loved my room. It felt like the room was made specifically for the French Quarter with all the very artistic pieces. It was very clean and had nice plates, silverware, wine glasses, etc, along with all your basic kitchen appliances. I had a one bedroom, living room, kitchen and bath, with a balcony right off Duval Street. Perfect location. I could sit and watch the people walking down Canal Street. This was the perfect location, one block to the casino, a few blocks to Bourbon street, down the block to Cafe Du Monde, a few blocks to the river and all the restaurants and bars you can imagine. I spent part of the trip alone when my relatives left and I felt completely safe. The employees got to know me and acknowledged me every time I saw them and that makes all the difference. Kudos to the security, maintenance and all the staff. Definitely will recommend. The only place I will book when staying in New Orleans.

This Quirky Little Hotel Has A Great Location And A Great Staff Centrally located and the staff was attentive and friendly. Decorated very oddly, but cool at the same time. There were two large bedrooms and a pull-out sofa, which was large and very comfy. Because we are three females having an extra 1/2 bath was greatly appreciated. There was also aT nice, little kitchen with everything you need. There is no housekeeping services, but you can get extra towels at your request. Trinity, one of the concierges, booked two excursions for us. She is a doll, friendly and helpful. The security night crew were also great. My only suggestion is that they install new windows in the bedrooms. Very loud from the traffic down below on a well traveled street. All in all an enjoyable stay.

One of two favorite NOLA places. Old but clean, quirky and historical. I have two favorite places in NOLA. I will not stay at any of those modern, overpriced cookie-cutter hotels that were built by tearing down history and replacing it with modern crap.

Great location! Great location! Great customer service! The front desk workers were great. Always helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. The location was perfect. About a half block from Canal. On same street as Cafe DuMonde. And a few blocks from Bourbon Street. We stayed in room 403. It was like a town house. Living room on bottom and bedroom up the stairs. It was a bit noisy at times on the weekend but didn’t bother me. Right outside our door was a shared courtyard with seating and a grill. Inside was a dorm refrigerator, microwave, full size coffee pot and dishes. Everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Central, but small and noisy Let’s start with the good: the staff here is very nice, and the location is fantastic in terms of being central. You’re next to a 24hr convenience store and ATM, a block into the French Quarter and walkable to all of that, and a block from Canal Street for easy Uber rides without having to make them drive into the Quarter. The rooms are clean, and have a cute little “living room” area and kitchenette with microwave, sink, and fridge. But the Queen beds are a bit small — definitely hard with my 6’5” husband. And there’s a small desk on one side of the bed, when 2 night tables would be more useful (so both people could put a water by the bed, for example). The beds are fine in terms of comfort — although the pillows do feel more like hard cotton balls than the ones you get at a nice hotel. The biggest complaint I had was the noise. The photos online show this place as being on a quiet side street with pretty balconies facing the street. Our room faced the alley, was always dark (and yes I know you don’t spend your day in the room, but it’s nice to wake up to light) — and had the loudest alley noise at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am, etc. Garbage trucks, some sort of other trucks, more garbage trucks, workers rolling trash cans into the alley to dump bottles, etc. One of the hardest times I’ve had sleeping in New Orleans in 10 years of coming here unfortunately.
