Family wedding nearby. Many rooms blocked. Guests checking in all afternoon and ALWAYS smiling pleasant front desk Front desk and breakfast service OUTSTANDING! Hotel starting renovations but never interfering with the guests. Room was clean when we arrived an hour before check in time . Employees very courteous and accommodating.

Smelly soap, slippery tub. What's wrong with this hotel? The bathroom. Since they no longer use Watkins liquid soap and switched to heavily scented Dove liquid soap you can't get the smell off of you. The soap is at the back of the tub where it slants towards the front and if you dribble any soap on the tub you risk slipping. You can't reach the soap without taking a step back, I slipped and almost fell. This is a lawyers dream. I reckon regular bar soap must be cutting into corporate profits. Would a rubber mat ( not supplied ) help? Beware older folks!

The rooms show their age. The desk, desk chair (was worn out and flaking,looked like something you would see for $5 at a garage sale), tv stand/dresser, etc. had not been updated in some time. Roo lights weren't bright so made the room look darker and dingier. Lobby did not have an open feel and was the older style with no remodel. None of the updates you would see in newer holiday inn express. Front desk was friendly and quick.

My door unlocked my whole stay - locks not working I was here over the past weekend for 3 nights with ladies and realized when I was checking out that my room had been unlocked for my whole entire stay. I didn't realize The door lock had not been working because I had just been using my key the whole time. I don't even remember how I figured out that it was unlocked but it was unlocked from Thursday afternoon all the way through Sunday morning. I was very surprised and unhappy and frustrated. They gave me one nights free stay for this visit. I believe my whole weekend should have been comped. Thank goodness nothing bad happened. Up until finding out about my lock situation, everything about the hotel was perfect, except not having a hot tub. Front desk staff was wonderful, room was clean, had plenty of supplies, etc. The lock situation ruined my whole stay. I used to work at a hotel And I had a checklist for a block of rooms that I had to go through every week. I had a list of things to check, such as door locks, lights working, shower and bathtub working properly, water pressure, TV working, any paint or anything wrong with the walls or paintings, etc. I do have a call into the hotel management and am waiting for a return call. You can bet every hotel I stay at now, I will be checking the locks to make sure they are working.

Nope Not up to par with IGH. Of course like all hotels the lobby is beautiful. The front desk staff was so nice and friendly. But the room wasn’t cleaned all. Crumbs found in the desk chair, hairs on the sink and in the shower. Bath mat was stained. Housekeeping needs some retraining. We sanitized the whole room as soon as we came in. I question any extra sanitizing that is suppose to be done with COVID. If they aren’t cleaning in general I doubt they do anything extra. We won’t return that for sure.
