Wonderful hotel in NY We LOVED our stay at Fitzpatrick hotel! The location was excellent, great and safe neighborhood and few minutes walk to Grand Central metro terminal. The room services were great and we were welcomed from the first moment. I should specifically thanks Grace at the front desk. She was very sweet and helpful and made the hotel our home for those 5 nights with her kindness. My only little complaint was with the AC system which was a little noisy. It would be also great if we had a mini fridge and few dishes and utensils in our delux room and a pairs of disposable shoes in the room. There was not free WIFI services on the room though our TMoblie worked perfectly and we did not need a WIFI for our ordinary use of the phones.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Water flooded the hallway and despite requests to fix, they never did This hotel is a hot mess. I wish I could upload the video I took of the torrents of water that came from the ceiling outside my room- I have a video- I complained and I didn’t sleep because of water literally creeping into my room. I did move my room the next day but the flood continued the very next day- I asked for a refund and it never happened. Others in the lobby complained of no A/C, phones not working - ick - please book elsewhere. Not worth saving a few dollars.

Exceeded my expectations This hotel is a gem. Best value in NYC. The lobby is charming. The staff were professional and courteous. Our room was significantly nicer and larger than much more expensive hotels in Manhattan. The bathroom felt like a top tier hotel. Loved having fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Disappointed loyal customer Let me first say that my family has stayed here for years and this is the first time we have been really disappointed, so much so that we are considering not coming back. There are things here you have to accept. The hotel is old, no mini bar, no gym, only two elevators, BUT the service has always been great and the rooms very clean. That said when we arrived at 4:10 pm we were told our room was NOT ready so they had to find us another room because the room we’d booked over 3 months ago was not ready well after THEIR stated arrival time. The sink in the room would not drain. We went to the front desk MULTIPLE times and despite saying it would be fixed it was not. The photo is of the sink all weekend. Never drained. And no hairdryer! There is an ironing board but no iron—WHO IRONS IN A HOTEL IN 2021.. But no hairdryer? So again I call the desk and they send one up and it doesn’t work. Have to call again to get a functioning hairdryer which even the worst hotels all have. The clincher is that we have an early flight on Monday and I asked the desk to get us a taxi for 6 AM. No they cannot do that because they tell us there is not enough staff at 6 AM on a Monday in New York City! It’s New York City across from Grand Central Terminal. No staff on a Monday morning and there used to be a round the clock doorman but coming back from dinner tonight we see there is no one. We have been long and loyal customers, we’ve recommended the Fitzpatrick to many but we may need to find another place to stay.

Nice hotel with a good location and price. Good location in Manhattan 3 minutes from Grand Central Station. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room with updated bathrooms. Fun courtyard bar which we enjoyed. Also has an attached restaurant which we didn’t have a chance to try. Great value for the money.
