Excellent! My husband went to NYC for the first time ever to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better spot! Loved everything about it.

Used to be a great boutique hotel Used to be a top boutique hotel. The last stay was disaster. Overbooked, so they downgraded our rooms ("due a system glitch"), gave us free coupons for the breakfast which could not be used because they were hosting a company event that took over all common areas. The room gave to us was a handicap queen room, that seems like saw the latest maintenance a long time ago. Heater didn't work, water was extremely hot. Sink was from 1800's. They were hosting a company event, so common areas like bar, resting and breakfast were exclusive to events. Staff told us to "go outside for coffee...". Spoke to manager and he was able to fix our rooms in the next day, which I appreciate.

Amazing Hotel with great location Amazing all around! Great location. Fantastic staff. It was our first time in New York and the staff was so helpful. You can’t go wrong staying here. 10/10!

Excellent We had a great stay at the Arthouse. It’s the perfect location on the UWS. Close to subway and buses. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Boutique hotel with a prime location on the Upper West Side We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Every member of the staff was professional, courteous, and efficient, making us feel truly welcomed. The cozy coffee shop and bar in the lobby quickly became our favorite spot to begin and end each busy day—it felt both homey and inviting. The location couldn’t have been better: just five blocks from our daughter’s apartment, with the park, river, and countless coffee shops, restaurants, and wine bars all within easy reach. The slight premium we paid for the room was more than offset by the savings on transportation. We’ll definitely be returning! —Richard & Rebecca
