A Precious Gem The Michelangelo Hotel is a precious gem. Its first class staff, grandeur, amenities, pricing, and location make it a terrific place to stay in NYC for any reason. There are too many fine individuals working there (several for decades) to name them all; nevertheless, I am moved to mention Guest Service Mgr., Walter, the Barmen Luna & Sean, John (the Shaolin), Doormen Teddy, Caesar, Nick, and the venerable Gene. Once one of NYC's grand hotels, my deep and longstanding hope is the owners realize the Michelangelo's significance and polish her back to her full glory.

Mother’s Birthday Celebration I had an amazing experience celebrating my mother’s birthday at this establishment! We had issues with our initial reservation after driving into town, but the manager, Elizabeth, was very understanding and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I were comfortable, and the rest of our stay was smooth sailing! Also, Henry, was very cheerful, friendly, and helpful. He is a walking light! I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into town to visit!

The staff there are amazing. From the Front Desk including Walter, to the Bellmen, Henry and Cesar. Staff there are amazing. They always make us feel so welcome. The hotel is beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about it. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favorite hotel in New York.

Sensational Staff Location, location, location. For the theater goer it doesn't get better. A bed the size of a tennis court with pillows and a mattress that felt like spun silk. But my fondest memory of the days spent is the warmth, kindness and professionalism of the Michelangelo staff. No request was too much or a bother. Somehow the personnel sense what you might need before you even think about it. A special thank you must go to the gentlemen at the front door who smile like they are seeing a long lost family member, and believe me the smile is real, authentic and honest. An added treat is that they insist on opening up the door for you. Thank you Michelangelo for making our stay a wonderful memory. We will be back.
