Hotel Edison Times Square

Too LOUD to sleep It’s midnight and there is incredibly LOUD rap music and someone on a microphone outside our window! Book elsewhere!! Staying in a hotel so close to Times Square was a terrible idea!!! Especially for the price. So so frustrated and disappointed.

A great hotel experience Loved the location! Short walk to anything you want to visit and close to the subway. Staff were friendly and accommodating, restaurants were amazing, and the grab and go breakfast exceeded expectations! Random perk but loved how we never had to wait for an elevator they were quick and always ready to take us too and from the room.

Theater District's Jewel I've been staying at the Hotel Edison ever since my girlfriend and I walked into the lobby and saw the fabulous bird's eye view mural of NYC hanging in the lobby. We saw that it also had two really top-notched restaurant right in the lobby area which is very appealing if you come in late from your train ride into the city and don't want to go back out. Since that time, I've signed up for emails for specials and every time I come into NYC, I ALWAYS stay here. It is so convenient to be close to all the major theater houses and walking distance to Hell's Kitchen and other sites. Great area to get your steps in. I have never felt unsafe when walking here. Also the staff is extremely helpful and courteous and the rooms are very clean and well kept. I especially like going to Bond 45 when I get in from the train. Since I am a WFPB eater, they have a great antipasti bar with so many great choices at a great value along with a variety of wine choices. I usually like to sit at the bar and talk with the many locals and tourists. The servers are exceptional at making sure your order comes quickly and your beverage is kept filled whether it is non-alcoholic or not. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Edison the next time you plan a trip to NYC.

A great New York experience. A great experience from valet parking to storing bags and checking in and checking out. Everything flowed so easy. All employees were great. Security was outstanding. The rooms we clean and service was fast and efficient. We stopped in at the Rum House bar a quiet small place and was treated wonderful.

Great location! We booked the hotel because of location. You are literally minutes from Time Square. The hotel itself is very outdated. The bathrooms are soooo tiny, the room doesn't have a bar fridge. It is very clean though and I love the old school doorman and security is great also. The little bar attached has a good vibe also.
