Christmas in New York Location was Fantastic. Everything we wanted to take in was within walking distance. Staff was very welcoming at the door and reception. Rooms very dated and run down. Few broken sockets ect...beds were spoiltless and clearing staff where very helpful. Hotel rooms needs revamp. Beware when you check in there is an extra charge which was $50 per room per night. Which we where unaware ot would be so high... Over good holiday was had.

MISLEADING PHOTOS THIS HOTEL LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!! It is dingy and dirty, the rooms are tiny, the carpet is nasty. We stayed about 20 minutes - just long enough to find another hotel. Do not stay here!

Great service at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel! We received excellent service from the front desk, housekeeping, and bell staff. All were super efficient and really nice and helpful! It was a crazy holiday week in the city and they kept their cool even when the lobby was a mob scene. The hotel location is excellent with easy access to everything around mid-town and the subway. The rooms are fine if a bit dated but for us it's the people that create our experience and these are among the best in the city.

December Stay I will go with a different slant-fellow guests were my main issue with this hotel. Outside noise is expected in Manhattan. The people on my floor were always talking loud in the hallways, slamming doors constantly (after using door once it is obvious it closes hard), and running around. There were also many rooms with 4+ people (not young children). Staff was very responsive to any questions/requests I had. Room was definitely acceptable for the price paid.
