My New-York favorite I love the Maritime. I used to stay there in my 20s and it has kept its charm. The staff is the highlight: friendly and helpful. What great value for the fantastic location too! Could not recommend it more. And every room has a great view too

Great Hotel and location, nice comfy room and lovely staff The location of Maritime Hotel was perfect in terms of accessibility to Chelsea, the Hudson river walk and High Line, as well as Chelsea Market which was a treasure trove of gourmet delights just across the road. The room had great views, and relatively quiet on the 10th Floor, with a very comfortable bed and the shower was the best we have ever experienced in a hotel room. Minor points to improve slightly, the pillows could have been a bit stiffer for me and my wife and the fire alarm was too sensitive to the steam from the bathroom. Breakfast could have been a bit more comprehensive with addition of bacon and scrambled eggs rather than just continental. Michael on the entrance and Shannon on reception are a credit to your business and couldn't do enough to help. We will come again, once the £ is worth $2 ;-), NYC is so much more expensive than 15 years ago! Many thanks Michael and Rachel from Sussex, UK

Wonderful Time During a 5-night stay with an elementary school child, we found the corner room spacious and convenient, with eateries nearby. The hotel staff's kind assistance, including recommending a delicious pizza place, made us feel secure despite our limited English proficiency. We are truly grateful and would choose this hotel again when visiting NYC.

A Gem in Chelsea We've stayed at many places in Chelsea and West Village over the years. The Maritime has the friendliest staff of any hotel in the area. The lounge is great, the nautical theme of hotel is really fun, and the beds are comfortable. And its a great value. Strongly recommend.

Always a great stay! In town for business, room was ready early, great location, good price and friendly staff! Will be back again.
