Mid at best Room was mid at best. It wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t overly clean. It’s a large hotel, I realize they need heads in beds and that’s what it feels like. They are willing to take anyone. If you want budget this is the place, if you want luxury don’t look here. Location is superb. Close to everything and if you look at the hotels around it, you can’t beat the price. You get what you pay for.

Overall good hotel, excellent location Overall good hotel, excellent location We stayed at the Warwick New York Hotel on a recent trip and overall had a very good experience. At the time of our visit, the hotel was undergoing some exterior building works and there was scaffolding in place. If this is something that concerns you, it really wasn’t an issue for us. The hotel fronts directly onto the street and doesn’t have an overly grand entrance anyway. It’s clearly a historic building, perhaps grand for its time, but today it feels more functional than luxurious. The location is excellent. It’s just a stone’s throw from Central Park and an easy, quick walk to Times Square. We also felt extremely safe throughout our stay, with police presence on almost every corner. The hotel is fairly priced for the location. As expected with a historic property, nothing is brand new, but everything was clean and comfortable. The room was cosy and the heaters worked very well, which was much appreciated during winter. We did contact the hotel in advance to see if anything special could be arranged as we were travelling for our daughter’s 18th birthday. They said they would try, but unfortunately nothing was done, which was a little disappointing and would have made the stay feel more memorable. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, it was nice enough, but quite pricey for what was offered. The lifts were fine overall, although there were times when we had to wait a few minutes. All in all, this is a good hotel in an excellent location. Despite a few minor downsides, we would stay here again and would recommend it, particularly for its convenience and value.

A Truly Great Hotel and Experience! From the reservation process to check-out this was a 1st class operation. On arrival we were greeted as if we were returning frequent users when this was our first stay. Lobby was well decorated, staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room we stayed in was quite well appointed and decorated very tastefully. We are going back to the city 2 more times that we know of and have already booked our rooms. The Hotel is convenient to all the theater distric and walkable to 5th Ave and Central Park. This is now our good to Hotel in NYC.

Perfect location and lovely hotel My teenage daughter and I were so impressed with the Warwick. The location is great - close enough to walk (north) to Central Park and (south) to Times Square, the Broadway theatres, Rockefeller, and the 5th Avenue shops, but just enough out of the craziness that it feels like an oasis. If you don’t feel like walking too far, it’s only 2 blocks to the closest subway station. Our room (Premier with 2 double beds) was large, well appointed and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved how the doorman greeted us with a smile and a cheery “welcome home”when we arrived each evening after a long day of exploring the city. We were sad when it came time to leave, and we would definitely stay at the Warwick again!
