Afternoon Tea Second visit to this venue with my cousin. They have moved the setting to a separate room instead of in the bar. I found this to be better, it gave the occasion a more special feeling. The settings looking new very pretty cups, sauces and plates, an extra touch. The food was a delight, the member of staff Logan saw to our every need. She was very kind and a great assist to your team

Great afternoon tea - and thanks to Logan! We had a very good value Groupon deal for afternoon tea with spa access included. Everything was great, the afternoon tea was really delicious and, unlike other places we’ve been not too much (or too little!). Really lovely service from Logan who was very attentive and genuinely wanted us to have a good experience, just the right amount of checking back and she went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Banquet hall 21st Birthday Right!! I had my son’s 21st Birthday party here on 28th Feb 2026. We started the booking approx 11 months ago and met Andrea from Events, what a lovely person so helpful and pleasant, she took control of the event and could not do enough. We had agreed to drop drinks off a day before the party so drinks could chill overnight, got a big van loaded turn up to hotel to be told can’t deliver can deliver for about 30 minutes, later we got unloading. The main chef was unhappy we were dropping drinks off he was rudely arguing with bar staff as to why we were delivering than half way through I had had enough and decided to offload the rest the next day. On the day of event we met the bar manager LuJane she was a great manager so accommodating helpful professional but than we found out it was her last day. As an employer of many people she was an asset to have been kept ( my view) Her professionalism showed as she managed the event thoroughly, I wish I could say the same for the kitchen manageress, I believe she shared the same name but totally different unhelpful and nearly ruined the food from coming out. She restricted the cooking facilities wanted to change the main course serving time by an hour. I wish all staff took as much pride in their work like Andrea and Lo Jane (bar manager). Also the rest of the staff were also fantastic in both area’s.

Afternoon tea Had afternoon tea here with use of leisure facilities and was good value for money.Did not like the sandwich selection but Logan the waitress,very kindly got me some i liked and was very attentive.Would recommend.

Afternoon Tea?..Why not? When your average coffee and cake could set you back just under a tenner each at a chain coffee shop; the Afternoon Tea offer via Groupon was really good value. Tea, Coffee, Sandwiches, Quiche, Scones and cakes all of which were very tasty. Friendly service from Reception and Bar Staff and pleasant surroundings mean that we would definitely revisit in the future.
