Its going to be done up soon....but that's no excuse. The sooner it closes for the new owners to do it up the better. The staff know this and it is reflected in attitude. No one gives a monkeys. It feels like you are going to a shop thats about to go bust. Why put a completely untrained under age person behind a Bar? I felt sorry for him he got into a panic....with no help from his colleagues. There is no management to complain too. Change the name to The Shambles.

Piss-Poor Management I asked for an Old Fashion. They pretended to know what it was, but then served me a single shot of bourbon with some ice in a snifter... Okay... I tell the bar tenders that I was not served an Old Fashion. They then ask me how to make an Old Fashion. I explain; syrup or sugar cube, bitters, bourbon, orange. They dont know what bitters are. This is not the staff's fault. The management, primarily the Chief Executive, Nole, has failed the employees. How is a business supposed to be successful if the front-line doesn't have the tools to execute the objective? This needs to be addressed or the Rutland will fail.

Uncomfortable Beds are very uncomfortable, springs poking in my back all night. Woke up with bad back, rooms are very old and need updating. Breakfast wasn’t much better, undercooked eggs and cold. Paid £160 for one night which is very overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t stay again.
