Rest days after a long trip This room was very nice. We took a long family road trip and needed to relax for a couple days before we returned home. The view was great and the rooms were nice. Our only complaint would be that the windows on one side were not cleaned.

Unacceptable business operations When we arrived to check in we were told our room wasn’t ready. We were early so I understand. But when I asked for a bathroom for my wife, we were told we would have to go to the park down the street. I feel that this is Unacceptable business operation. I am a choice rewards diamond member and in all my travels and hotel stays, Never once have I ever been told to go down the street to the park to use the bathroom…

Meeting family Great ocean views with adequate room. The gas fireplace was very nice. Staff was great and worked hard to make our stay comfortable. I found price to be exceptionally high. I do believe at over $500 a night there should have been something more. At least 2-ply TP.

Don't stay here Room dirty, garbage behind furniture, sock under hideaway bed just for starters. Sand patio was closed 2 days for maintenance and was told they couldn't give me the reason. No, they're just lazy and didn't want to clean the area. Obviously. Total joke, was offered a 15% discount, which was a slap in the face with the room condition alone. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Good location and very friendly staff Location ideal on oceanfront; very friendly staff; rooms a bit small and bathrooms a bit outdated; underground parking a plus; gym very small and no weights; Newport is not Cannon beach so ambience much less desirable.
