Banquet to the Max Attended a function in their main ballroom. The banquet facilities were superb and the food was delicious. The rolls were probably the best I've had. Our organization holds their annual banquet there every year and the Newton Marriott pulls out all the stops. Highly recommend.

False advertising, false overcharges, no heat, freezing room in winter Charged for "telecomm" when I didn't use the internet, TV, or room telephone (which did not work). Charged an unadvertised fee for parking, when free parking was readily available. The outdoor temperature when I checked in was about 30F. The room had the air conditioning blasting. The temperature control did not work. I called engineering. They came up. It never delivered heat. The room was freezing all night. I put all the blankets from the second bed on my bed, and wore all my clothes and spent a freezing night in this hotel. There were no extra blankets in the room. So what you get at this Marriott is a) False advertising, b) False billing, c) broken room telephone, and d) no heat.

25% increase in parking! The good: Basic size room with decent beds The not so good: Dim and outdated interior Paper thin walls- you can hear conversation in room next door. toilet use, curtain opening, etc Nothing around- construction at entrance Highway is audible The worst part is now parking is $20 a night: that’s a 25% increase since April. Absolutely outrageous!

Handicap Very disappointed on the parking charge of $20 a day. Most hotels do not charge you if you are handicap. No discounts - no nothing No very handicap friendly I’m on the very farthest room - literally end of building The parking is down a hill just to get to lobby Love Marriott but not this location It does have a wonderful view

Major disappointment Was in the area so decided to stay at hotel we spent our first night married 55 years ago. Reception was very impersonal As platinum elite no special reception. $20 charge for parking. Roads and entry way to hotel all ripped up for construction No real view from hotel rooms. Limited hours and days for concierge level. Hotel managers attitude very uncaring. Ruined entire experience for us
