Nice and comfy everything was great. Not a lively bar but I guess that is because so close to the casino. However, the staff was great and the room very comfy.

Hotel Parity in Niagara Falls NY My daughter had moved to Canada recently, and five months ago gave birth to my first grandchild. Purpose of this trip was to meet my daughter's husband and to meet my new grandchild. I wanted to treat them to a stay at, by reputation, one of the finest hotels in Niagara Falls NY, and I booked a smaller room for myself. Let me say that I am originally from NYC, have traveled considerably on business, and even handled the advertising business for two different national accounts. I selected the Sheraton Niagara Falls because I thought I was picking the best. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There was no room service, which would have been helpful because Rainforest Cafe mishandled and lost our reservation... and the baby was ready for her nap. With all the children in the hotel, I was surprised that there was no fast food/pizza food option, aside from Starbucks which ran out of most of their inventory. On my bill, I was charged for two nights of parking (for my room) and one night for my daughter's. The problem is... I wasn't driving, and had no car. This was corrected at checkout. The gentleman behind me at checkout ALSO had the same complaint. Was it necessary to secure a $200 PER ROOM deposit although both room's payment was already guaranteed by credit card. I've been "assured" that these deposits will be returned soon. I have never been to Niagara Falls before, but why is there a charge for "Destination Marketing Fee" for each night? If the purpose is to recoup all of your operational expenses, I could just as well been billed back for the salary of your Reservation Agent?? Sheraton knows better how to run hotels than I, but shouldn't the cost of doing business, not directly room-related, be funded through your charged room rates, not an additional fee. Handled the way it was, it just felt like another "money grab". I mentioned this at checkout, and was responded with "Well, this is New York." Not so. It doesn't matter whether or not this was a Sheraton decision, or whether the Niagara Falls NY City Council (or other politicians) were behind it.

Great Service and Staff In 2+ years visiting Niagara Falls, this was our first stay at the Sheraton. We have been missing out. First, Ashley was extremely helpful at check-in. I had no idea how many amenities they had, and she really helped me figure out parking! Matt, in the Jade Room (temp club lounge) was also very helpful, welcoming, and informative. Looking forward to staying there again in a few weeks.

The 3 C's - comfotable, closeby and convenience The room was spacious and comfortable. The location of this hotel is also a huge advantage as it is close to the Goat island, Terrapin point and Luna where you can enjoy the falls. Also a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
