Great family vacation! Awesome place to bring the family. The grandkids and parents spent a whole day at the Waterpark area and we rented a cabana highly recommend this. The staff were all very friendly. Unfortunately we may have got the only room with no window or balcony and as a smoker it was a lot of trips out in the cold weather for next trip will make sure we don’t get this one again: overall highly recommend a fun family vacation:

Thieves This establishment stole my daughter’s jewelry I will be calling the police tomorrow tried talking nicely to the the management but they made it quite clear they don’t care DO NOT stay here thrives work here

Not Enjoyable We booked Americana as a group of 8 (two families) and our experience was sub par. First, my main concern is that the water in the water park is FAR TOO COLD to be a useful water park. Children are not going to want to stay or use the water park when the water is this cold. Us adults felt the same and could only use the water park for a short time due to our whole partying shivering. We only stayed in for 30 minutes the first day then had to leave to warm up. The hot tub is too far from the swimming area and children are not allowed in the hot tub area. So if you have children with you you will not be able to use the hot tub during your stay. Other cons were, check in was far too slow. You have to fill out a form at check in. Why on earth this form wasn't emailed out ahead of time makes no sense to me. Check in time is at 4pm which is sooo late. Locker room is far too small for a place that houses this many people. They are also coin operated, which is not stated anywhere on the booking. To make matters worse, their coin machine was 'out of order' so I spend an hour during my stay wandering around looking for coins just to get a locker. In the end the lockers were too small to put in our bags and shoes so it was worthless. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay and hope to never return.

Rude front desk staff Front desk staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional and non-accommodating. I strongly recommend escaping your concerns until your concerns are addressed. It seems that staff have lost sight of where they work, the memories that are created and the numerous families aiming to have a loving happy time. Customer service skills need work, we are forever slighted by the impact of such poor service.

Fine for families with young children All in all, amenities are fine, especially if you are travelling with children. If for an adult trip, I would skip this one. The water park was super full on Sunday, August 24th, to the point of not being sanitary. The park/grounds at the back are really nice, the rooms are clean, with minor exceptions (see photos below -- shower soap dispenser and toilet bowl would need a shot of bleach). We appreciated the "kitchenette" corner (fridge, microwave, small sink for dishes, coffeemaker), and the full table with 4 chairs in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable, but maid service left somewhat to be desired (left the room at 9:30, on Tuesday, August 26th, returned around 2:30 p.m. and maid did not make up the room at all). Still, the amenities and location made up for it in some ways.
