Mold The carpets were soaked, and the mold smell was so horrific that I'm genuinely concerned about long-term health impacts from the single night we stayed. We noticed the smell immediately upon entering the lobby, but every other hotel was booked, and it was 1am. Hoping the room would be better, we were shocked to find it even worse! The next night we stayed elsewhere, and the mildew/mold smell was so pervasive that we couldn't even wear the same pajamas. Despite extensive travel worldwide, including budget stays in India, Niles, Michigan, has set a new low.

Lovely stay with family The 2 front desk women were so friendly. We got in and had issues with our card getting us into our room. We were given another room and were surprised with freshly baked cookies for the inconvenience. The room was perfect for our family of 7. The two queen beds with pull out bed were great. We packed toiletries but were surprised to have the shower stocked with full size bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The breakfast had many options, omelets, b&g, oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, pre packaged waffles, an automatic pancake maker, fruit, juices, sausages, potatoes, and more. The pool was clean and the kids had a great time. The lobby was decorated with sunhats and flip flops which was a cute touch and there was a vending area for picking up a quick snack. Would definitely stay here again. Just 40 minutes away from Silver Beach which was our reason for staying.

Fresh, clean chain hotel A very good chain hotel. Staff were helpful and wore masks as COVID-19 infections were rising. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable sitting area. Location was great - close to shops and restaurants but set back from the road. The inclusive breakfast was decent with fruit, cereals and hot items. I’d definitely stay here again.

Good accommodations for the night Decided last minute to stay the night on a day trip to Niles Scream Park. Pros: Excellent customer service during booking, comfortable bed, room was clean, sausage links and coffee were good. Close to the scream park, walking distance to a restaurant, Walmart down the road. We forgot toothpaste and were given a complimentary toothpaste packet. Cons: Strong odor of pot when we walked into our room. We complained and the lady that checked us in was super nice and tried to make it better right away even though she was busy. She apologized and explained it is coming in from outside. She sprayed odor neutralizing spray.. it made it somewhat better. However, at night while sleeping a smoke odor filled the room again. Not her fault but changes need to be made so this doesn’t happen. Turkey sausage was gross. Although room was clean, shows signs of wear and tear. Bathroom looks “touched up”, but needs remodeled(was good enough for what we needed though). We had an excelled rate that I can’t complain about to stay in a clean hotel room for the night.
