Hampton Inn Norcross

Tale of two hotels. Outside kinda rough, room very nicely done and comfortable I arrived late afternoon/early evening. The hotel is just off the the highway so it is very convenient on a busy street. Luckily I had selected a room on the backside of the hotel where there is a second elevator. The exterior/hallway/elevator made me second guess my choice as they were worn. That said, when I entered my room I was pleasantly surprised as it was newly remodeled and super nice. Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room. The tech all worked well. HVAC controls were a bit odd and acted as a night light (I think) which made late night maneuvering easy. Plenty of places to eat and gas up nearby. Recommend.

Aesthetically Pleasing but Road Noise This is a very attractive hotel aesthetically in the lobby and design, apparently it used to be a Drury which HI took over years ago. The staff is kind and very informative. They go out of their way to be helpful and informative. We had requested an upgraded room for Diamond status and the gave us a nice king suite on the 4th floor odd numbered side. Having said all that, the reason we couldn’t give more than 4 stars was due to the noise factor from the road and the uber bright flood lights from the shopping mall next door….the room darkening shades helped with the lights, but road noise is road noise and the location is right off the highway and Jimmy Carter Blvd. The AC seemed to be a little less than accurate too, having it set on 60° and the room always felt stuffy and read 70°. Not making it the best sleep at all. Suite was kinda tomb-like; only one small window in each of the two rooms. But we were very grateful for the extra space and the ability to spread out a bit. Well done. Again, the staff is wonderful, location extremely convenient & well maintained. Just not sure we’d stay agin due to the road noise factor. Thank you to all who made a stay as pleasant as can be.

Jeovana was fantastic! Answered all of my questions thoroughly. She was accommodating and friendly. This hotel is in a g Jeovana was awesome! So friendly and present and accommodating, and took her time with me the hotel is in a good location and the rooms are nice. Plus it’s Atlanta so there are only like 10,000 options as far as where you want to eat lol definitely recommend.

Bad experience I did not líke the hotel. To be more expecific The young lady at the reception. She does not look líke some one who works there, she was on her hoodie. That is a very bad appearance por you guys. I have been to other hotels and the receptionist dress formally, I decided to go to another hotel.

Great stay An awesome hotel .. great check in the room was clean and comfortable beds The pool was outstanding.. warm clean.. large enough for a lap swim The breakfast was well maintained with many choices! Definitely would recommend! The staff and other guests were friendly and professional
