Home away from home The New Victorian felt like a home away from home. I am a travel nurse who works over nights at the Regional Hospital in the area. The hotel was exceptional for the price. The rooms were spacious and always extremely clean. They all had exceptional heating/AC systems in the rooms. The rooms were always spotless every time I showed up The staff was extremely friendly, especially Tonya. She was like my little travel mom. They were very understanding and willing to work with my complicated schedule while I was working overnights. She always made sure my needs were met from towels to toiletries. The breakfast they offer is amazing. Waffles, biscuits and gravy and everything in between. I stayed up here for roughly for 5 months and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend if you’re coming through Norfolk to stop at the New Victorian Inn. You won’t regret it!

Decent experience with a motel we frequent. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast on par with any other hotel The new metal bases on the beds are annoying They are metal panels, and every time I move toward the bed, my toes hit them, and the pabels sound like a bass drum. Would be nice if they were removed. As with most motels, the hallways smell like pot.

Very nice rooms Rooms are very updated with LP Plank floors. The breakfast was good. Pool was also nice for our grandchildren. Front staff was helpful and accommodating. We had the king suite with our family and I would highly recommend that for families. Very spacious.

Great experience Received a call the day of checking in to validate our reservations. 4 pillows per bed, great. Our meetings completed a day in advanced, and the assistant manager was very helpful checking us out in advance of our reservations. I would stay at this location if I return to Norfolk in the future.
