Best customer service I can imagine! I arrived on a very late flight to Norfolk on July 1 and had to make last-minute plans to stay overnight. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who was working the front desk that night - I called just minutes before midnight and she was able to quickly book me so my stay would be on July 1 and not 2. She was SO helpful and kind and I was in the most comfortable king room as soon as I arrived - with her offer of a complimentary late check-out due to my very late-night arrival. I could not be more grateful to her for truly going above and beyond to make sure I had an excellent experience - even so last-minute. She was a treasure and I will absolutely be booking at this hotel (… not minutes before midnight!) the next time I fly through Norfolk.

81 bed bug bites at the Norfolk Airport Hampton Inn okie dokie, I have been waiting to post this. I was there about 35 hours and look what happened! my bed was infested by bed _, 81 to be exact! It was awful and on my birthday no less! I’m still dealing g with the insurance company, let’s see what happens! I would never ever stay there again!

The people were great So it was a quick in and out . Dropped car off at airport and just needed place with a shuttle for the morning. The two shuttle drivers were excellent. The lady who checked me in and the young guy who checked me out , both very good as well. Service was good , but the customer interaction was even better .

Horrendous customer service I have been a Hilton honors customer for years. I had booked a mid week stay and the website glitched to the wrong day. I requested the date be corrected once I found out about it. The hotel manager said it was a “no Show and the charge is valid and will remain.” This was the most petty, unreasonable answer. I would stay away from this and ALL Hampton Inns. They are run by near illiterates with no sense of allegiance. I will never stay with any of the Hilton brands again. They treat customers like garbage.

Room smelled like a skunk When we walked in our room, it smelled like a skunk. I believe someone who stayed in it before us had been smoking meth. We did report it to the front desk and they sent someone from maintenance with two different deodorizer sprays. We sprayed with Lysol, but it only masked the odor but did not eliminate it completely. We did complain again when we checked out that morning but only got an “I’m sorry” from the front desk clerk. Beinvolved an honors member, perhaps they could have offered another room if they had a handicap accessible room available or they could have offered a discount on my “skunk”room.
