outdated hotel normally I stay at Hampton Inn in Norman but a baseball tourney filled the town. As soon as i pulled up I had a bad feeling. This is a super old hotel that looks like the owner tried to update with new paint but it is truly a super old hotel. DO NOT STAY!! My door key would not work three times as the room locks are old and the manager said they need to be updated. Bathroom was horrible and outdated. If you have a chance do not stay here!!!!!!!!

Stay at your own peril Please see pics, Bags of trash on the sidewalks for 3+ days, peeling paint from the walls, screws protruding from wall where picture should hang, door stop missing, bracket on the bathroom door where 'something' should have been, bathroom light not working (we informed front desk but nothing was done), the Handicapped seat for the shower is a death trap and anyone trying to sit on it would have a lawsuit as it most certainly would collapse upon seating, rear entrance door 'Out Of Order', pool was FREEZING and grand children were unable to swim (our main reason for booking) , pool area was also dirty, killed a big black beetle (1 inch in length) crawling on our room floor YUK!, this is the tackiest 'Hotel' we have stayed at in years and won't be back, VERY DISSATISFIED

Would not recommend The hotel looks very nice as you pull up. Looks are deceiving. Walk in the door and the lobby is SO hot. They do have it nicely decorated, the stairway is very pretty. The guy checking me in was nice I guess but I was very underwhelmed. I asked him who delivered and he really just had not much of an idea. The are obviously remodeling, which I understand, but storing mattresses, building materials and boxes in what is normally the dining area and one of the first things you see when you walk in is not a good look. The rooms are decent size, then beds are ok. It has a musty odor too it but it’s not too bad. Cleaning is clearly not a strong suit of this hotel. There is visible dirt and dust on the sides of the hallways and stairway. The “fitness room” has 3 machines and a broken weight set. There are cups and trash all over the room, even a banana peel on the floor where someone missed the trash can. It also smells awful. Pool was closed. Maybe it will be better once remodeled but definitely would NOT recommend. We booked it for 2 nights and I’m regretting it for sure.

Find anywhere else! We have used Choice Hotels for 25 years and have previously stayed at this location, so paying more to stay here this trip made sense UNTIL NOW. Upon arrival, my hotel room door wasn’t closed all the way. I notified the front desk that several were open. She said she would take care of it. Later that evening, I went to turn on the air condition unit and noticed the air conditioner grill was not aligned. It worked fine, but I called the front desk because the tape they placed on the side to hold it up and closed was no longer working. She told me she would send maintenance to fix it. I’m in day 3 of my 9 day stay and no one has showed up. BUT last night, while I was FaceTime the a/c kicked on and when it did— the entire front and top fell off. Having a young child in the room withe me makes me think this would be a priority but nope, the clerk said she would let the manager know. I spent thirty minutes trying to make it safe for my family. Additionally, even though everything is open— they are not cleaning rooms for 3 days. They are however cleaning carpets. So they told me they needed me to make sure nothing was on the floors. They came in and shampooed the carpets while I was away and left my door open. This is concerning because they have it posted that Unwelcome guests have been sleeping in the bathrooms. My floor is soaked so walking with socks is a no go. Empty hotel but they put me on a room that needed the carpets cleaned? Wow. The breakfast is a joke! It’s either a blueberry muffin or banana muffin that appears store bought. For a diabetic, that is nothing. Finally, after cleaning my own room for three days— the maid knocks on my door. I told her yes for room service and asked for a minute to collect my child. I walked out, cart but no maid. Go back to my room and discovered nothing was done. Absolutely NOTHING. I told the front that I wanted room service and she told me she was done for the day! They don’t give you trash bags, no towels outside your door, nothing. You have to take everything to the front desk. Somehow, this doesn’t feel like a vacation for me at all! By the way, I’m on evening 3 here and still haven’t heard from the manager who was supposed to reach out to me the morning after I arrived. Customer service USED to be top notch with Comfort Inn. I prepaid for these nine days and will finish this out but I will not stay here in the future. There are several other hotels next door and they look really nice!

Nope It is clean, and pretty quiet. Rooms are a good size. Those are the positives. Beds are miserable. Think sheets of cardboard on the floor, and you will be close. If you need a vanity light to shave or put on makeup, bring one with you. The one in the bathroom is apparently on some energy saving mode. It comes on, when you flip the switch, stays on for a minute, goes off. You can turn the switch on and off, but then it realizes what you are doing, and just doesn't come on at all. So you have to count to ten, in the dark. You can basically put mascara on either the top or bottom of one eye, before the light goes off. So, be prepared to get up extra early, plan to double your time to get ready. I guess one more positive is that the room is not cute, so you will want to sleep.
