Comfy, clean, friendly, excellent pool. Super comfy beds, very clean, friendly staff, and complimentary snacks! We had booked a different hotel, but their pool was closed and they refused to refund us - luckily we found Briarcliff and they let us stay in their nice outdoor pool late!_

Not bad I stayed here last minute for the eclipse crowd and they had one room available. I was advised by a local that it was a place to stay that did not charge high rates. We paid $225 for two night. The room wasn’t too bad. It appeared clean The enclosed porch was nice. Water was hot. My wish list…. I would like the main door to close properly and the upholstered arm chairs to be cleaner. (Room 4). Also the woman who took my reservation was very polite. The young man who checked us in had no personality. I wish he would have told me they have a soda machine….somewhere.

Now I know which reviews were right. Positives were: clean sheets and HOT water and road noise wasn't bad; and a thankful lack of rugs (floor was cleanable) Google reviews versus trip advisor, so rolled the dice and gave it a chance. Won't do it again. Door wouldn't shut right; chairs in room were so disgusting I even hesitated to put gear on them; I doubted cleanliness of comforter and pillow covers; Sink wouldn't drain; and I didn't mention my "lack of cleaning" finds to my partner, or we would have had to leave immediately; common microwave was as disgusting as the chairs;

Great experience in a beautiful area Recently upgraded. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Ive stayed here twice and will come again! I made mistake of leaving a personal item behind. The manager had it, and sent it right back to me. Just a nice place to stay. Call them direct, and avoid the all those travel site's nonsense.

Great Motel we will be back!! We have stayed here for the last 5 years. The owners are so nice and accommondating. We love the screened porch in the back with the views of the mountains. The rooms are always clean and they just remodeled them this year. Also love the location you can walk to restaurants and get ice cream too. (Everyone loves ice cream after dinner).
