Quality Inn & Suites North Lima - Boardman

Good hotel, could be great with a little upgrading and tweaking! Hotel worked perfectly for our purposes. Overall a nice stay. Front desk staff was friendly on check in and out. Honored our room location requests. Did not use wi-fi so can not comment. Room was 304. King Bed with small couch & coffee table, small desk, microwave and fridge (with small freezer which is nice touch). Also had a window seat. Overall cleanliness was a 6 out of 10. I always take dollar store disposable slippers when we travel and I am glad we did (never walk around hotel in socks or barefoot). The bottom of the soles showed the dirt after our couple day stay. Bathroom was mostly clean except for trim area in corners by the tub and burn mark on edge of tub (supposed to be nonsmoking hotel). This hotel is showing some age. The trim pieces on edges of coffee table, and the dresser/tv stand were pealing off. There were some stains on the cushions on the couch and the window seat. The comforter on our bed had a large stain in the corner (looked like someone spilled their drink and the stain set in and didn't completely wash out). The shower curtain rod was not fastened properly and therefore hung down slightly causing the shower curtain to not want to stay closed on the ends (wanted to slide to the middle constantly). The two drawers in the dresser/tv stand would not stay shut. If you walked past they would just open on their own for no reason - hubby wedged some paper between them to get them to stay shut (major shin buster coming around from the side of bed and running into open drawer!) The bed was firm but comfortable, the pillows were small (I always take my own so didn't use them). Was in good location for Roger's Flea Market and doing some sightseeing and other things in the area and plenty to eat in 10-20 minute drive). Breakfast both days Friday & Saturday were the same. MYO waffles, 3 kinds of cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, bananas. Enough to get you going but nothing special. No eggs, meat, etc. The price was reasonable for two night so adjusted my expectations based on this and was not disappointed.

Excellent Stay Definitely earned 5 ⭐️s. I don’t give five stars easily to a hotel. They earned it! One of the nicest, friendliest, cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in that is in the midrange price. In every area - rooms, exterior care, pool maintenance, front desk, breakfast, and location _. Breakfast was well stocked right up to closing time. Muffins, yogurt, mini waffle machine, cereals, beverages hot & cold and more. Location was great- near main roads, easy off and on, gas stations, variety of restaurants available. Pet friendly rooms- and nice outdoor area for walking.

Marginally Acceptable Quality Inn. Hahahaha. I like to refer them as “No Quality Inn”. Building exterior was blah. No character. Hotel was shoehorned on the site. From the parking lot and drive lane there was 6 feet of grass area. There wasn’t even a dog walking area nor were there any bags provided. Past guests didn’t even clean up their dogs poop. Front lobby lacked any appeal. Christmas tree still set up. Dining area was not private and right off lobby. Room couldn’t be any smaller. Had a queen bed with only enough room to walk around. Bathroom was clean and nice. They also ran out of Do Not Disturb signs to hang on your room door. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. In this case not much.

Good price. Close to Rogers flea market Very small single room. A bit of an odd furniture configuration and limited space to set things down. Good breakfast for a budget property. My stay was disrupted by another guest's unattended dogs barking, but the hotel staff did their best to try and resolve the issue. Not a walkable location. Four dot grade based on a budget hotel and the price.

Quality Rest Served the purpose - rest & run. Got what I paid for which was reasonable. Room was small which works since I was solo. Room was clean, quiet and right off turnpike. There is a Sheetz very near fuel and food. Breakfast items are available at hotel.
