My experience was great...some friends did not have a great experience We had a great stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, unlike some of the feedback they were very careful to be attentive to the current COVID situation, our room was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our 1-night stay, and convenient to the Sporthouse facility where we were visiting. However, we had some friends who stayed in another room and had some severe cleanliness issues. The staff did what they could to make it right with them, but I'm glad it wasn't my room. I think we'd stay again, but not sure about our friends.

Not worth the $$$ We stayed at this place last Saturday. We picked it because we are a family with a 12 year old boy and we were taking he and a friend to Michigan Adventure. The room was a "one bedroom with pull out couch". We have stayed in many of these over the years and never had an issue. We also wanted to be sure the boys could swim. when we checked in I asked when the pool closed. I was told their pool was never open. It had not been open since COVID started. I stated this was not on the website and the front desk person started arguing with me. Then we checked into our room which was much smaller than most 1 bedrooms and when the couch bed was not even a double. It came out of a love seat (2 cushions). When the couch was pulled out you couldn't get past it to go the bathroom (that's how small the room was. We paid $260 for our night plus tax. We will never stay there again. Rude front desk staff, small rooms. Not sure how you can charge so much when your hotel actually isn't 100% open.

Decent but not great I spent two weekends in this city for work. My first weekend I stayed at Hampton and was quite pleased. That may have tinged my opinion of Fairfield the following weekend. Despite the promise of “pillow top” mattresses, I found the bed flat and hard. There were the typical number of mystery stains on the curtains. The room was tidy but the pillows seem to have been randomly tossed on the bed. Due to covid I always wipe down the room. This revealed some sticky spots on the dresser top. The overflow plate in the shower was missing revealing a hole and there were no trash bags in my of the rooms bins. On the plus side, it’s a nice location and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Good stay, frustrated with amenities Hotel website shown no warnings pool and hot tub were closed. We purchased a stay here knowing that was accessible for the time we were here. Also the continental breakfast was a orange, Nutrigrain Bar and a water. Pretty upsetting they were not more accommodating during Covid. They could have lowered nightly stay or even offered something in place for the rates. $130 for a basic room and no Amenities is not okay.

Absolutely Horrible I stayed here with my boyfriend and was charged $250 for smoking in the room. I absolutely did not. The assistant general manager is a liar, thief, and coward who completely avoided me when i asked to see the photographic evidence. When I was FINALLY contacted by the manager and was offered the "evidence", it was literally nothing. One photo was of a twig. Absurd. Do NOT stay at this hotel. The staff is rude, the hotel is uncomfortable, and the stay was overall a huge waste of time and money.
