Very good stay in Oak Ridge We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our room was renovated and clean with a step-in shower, and had windows that actually opened. Breakfast was good and constantly replenished and staff was attentive and pleasant. Would gladly stay here again.

Not for a demanding traveler The interior was recently renovated, one can still smell it. Free breakfast is included, but the quality is not that good, especially the coffee. The coffee machine dispenses the "coffee" then hot water after the coffee shot is done. The plastic utensils and the paper coffee cups are in individually wrapped packaging, i.e., not very environmentally friendly. Overall, it was a fair deal for the price I paid. Don't expect too much.

Unpleasant Staff & Uncleaned Sheets Upon arrival I walked into the an appalling cigarette smell. Upon asking for help, I was met with “we have a no smoking policy” as if I was lying or I had smoked myself. I was very kind when I came up, so I was very confused. While at the desk, I was confronted about having “a dog” with me. I am disabled with a service animal. They asked for certification and badge which is not required by the government and was told that was “the way they had always done things.” I explained in detail about ADA. The woman said she would have to check, and I told her to go to the government website. After walking away for a minute on her phone she said nothing and just told another woman to go to my room to help with the smell. The other woman agreed that it smelled unpleasant and was able to alleviate the problem. Now let talk about the room itself. After fixing the smell, I thought it was fairly decent for a 2 star hotel. However, after climbing into the bed, I noticed that there was not a stain but caked on crumbs on the comforter. To be honest, I wonder if the person who checked the room and cleaned the room, completely neglected the bed and smell. To be honest, I refuse to go to another Quality Inn again. Will absolutely tell people to avoid this one in particular. The staff and room are anything but acceptable. It’s very disappointing. Unfortunately this is the first night of my stay and cannot make other arrangements. Check in: April 19th Check out: April 21st

Look for better options The room had a strong smell. Bug repellent or cleaning spray? Not sure. Fans and cones in hallway a few rooms down. Water problems? Free breakfast, but decided to go out. Would not stay here again.

Never again This is the 2nd hotel in Oak Ridge we had issues with on our trip here to Windrock. At least the first place we stayed at was clean (Days Inn) This place was filthy! But at least the staff was nice. There was no where else to stay this weekend, everywhere was sold out, & we were too tired to make the 3hr trip home so we ended up staying the night here. We will never stay here again.
