Great place My husband and I stayed at Candlewood Suites last weekend. Newly renovated and nicely decorated. Our room had not even been used before us. We had a deluxe suite that had a bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchen, small eating area and a living room. It was a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend this facility.

Very great place to stay! Wonderful stay at Candlewood Suites for us and our therapy dog. They were extremely accommodating last minute as we stopped thru on our way to Denver. Originally called Holiday Inn down the road and they said they don’t allow dogs, but Candlewood does, so we booked with them. I asked on the phone if I could spend $125 max with fees and they said absolutely. Thank you IHG! Beds were a little stiff, pillows were pretty good, sheets were very clean. Floors in bathroom and near kitchen area needed just a little more sweeping, but rest of kitchen was fantastic. So awesome to have a large fridge and ice machine in the room. We were able to unload our cooler and repack with ice in the morning. Room smelled clean. Hallway smelled a little musty, but that’s expected. Staff was AMAZING!! Wonderful ladies at the front desk checked me in and out and made the experience wonderful. We appreciate the kindness. We will absolutely be back again someday! Our dog also had a blast and says 10/10. Also great deal for being 20 min away from the St Louis Arch and 5 mins from Starbucks and gas at Sam’s club!

$100 deposit that you will not get back for 10 days! Very poor customer service and day staff. Good check in by Late Night staff. Terrible customer service at check out by two people!!! Staff slamming doors early all morning, repetitively, for cleaning!!! Did I mention a mandatory $100 deposit that you will not get back for 10 days??? Staff will not try to expedite either!!! I do not recommend! Many hotel options in the area. Find another hotel.

Kitchen but no table So the photos show rooms with tables and a comfy chair: we booked a free rewards night and our room only had a desk and one chair. There were three of us. They gave us a mobility room. We didn’t book that. I called the front desk and they said yes that’s the way the room is, no table and one chair!! Never recognized me as a rewards member. Beds were hard. No hair dryer in room. I was not happy with this hotel. What is the point of having a kitchen if there isn’t a table and just a desk with one chair. I hate having to sit on the bed. Shampoo, etc, is on the wall in the shower and almost empty. Never again!

Decent hotel This will not concern most, but if you use a blow dryer daily...you will understand. I have never been to a hotel that did not have blow dryers. I had a flight to catch and had to go to walmart to buy a blow dryer. Really? They said they were on back order. Me the customer...who cares why you do not have one...my concern is that you DID NOT HAVE a blow dryer. The guy at the front desk said...yeah we get lots of people asking for them, but we just don't have them right now. I have an idea...go to walmart and buy 6 blow dryers to leave at the front desk for your paying customers. Lack of concern for your customers and laziness. The general manager needs to learn what it means to be a manager. 100% lack of concern for your paying guest. Can't complain about the rooms. They were good size and clean. There was no breakfast and no apology from morning staff for not supplying a blowdryer, when you claim in your amenities that you supply blow dryers.
