Very nice. Be aware of nearby construction. Alert! New construction is underway in front of and to the side of this hotel as of the first week in January 2024. Workers were laying the cement for the foundations for who knows what? The windows of the hotel are well insulated. However, the construction works starts early, and when exactly they knock off, I can't say. To be 100% sure, I wouldn't book here unless I was assured the room wouldn't face the front or to the left (looking at the entranceway). Otherwise, it's a two-thumbs-up review. The suites are roomy! A full-size fridge, a well-equipped kitchenette with real utensils and glasses (a sink, too, but no stovetop burner). And an enormous bathroom with two doorways entry and large tub/shower area. It's A-OK, clean, and seems to be well-staffed and managed. It's a place we would stay in again without any ifs-and-buts, except: what is the construction situation?

Under Construction wait until Fall 2024 I recently endured a horrendous 7-day stay at this hotel in Omaha. The property is currently undergoing renovations, and it severely impacted our stay. Our room’s electrical breaker malfunctioned daily, leaving us without lights multiple times. Housekeeping was nearly non-existent, only showing up twice during our entire week-long stay. We had to go to the front desk for towels, which were often unavailable, and we had to empty the garbage ourselves. The utensils in the room were filthy, with visible food stains, and the overall cleanliness of the room was deplorable. The hotel is clearly struggling with housekeeping staffing issues and the ongoing renovations are making things worse. I strongly advise waiting until they resolve these problems before considering a stay here.

Quick trip, stolen bag The hotel was fine, rooms were spacious, it was a very quick trip, so we did not use any of the amenities. My teenage daughter forgot her purse in the room, which I know was our fault, but it would have really been appreciated if whomever found the purse in the room had turned it in rather than keeping it for themselves. My daughter is heartbroken as she had some jewelry with sentimental value in the bag. I'm sure this kind of thing happens all of the time, but it doesn't make it okay.

It was just one thing after another... The good--loved the firm mattress. The location was perfect for my purposes. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous and helpful. The suite was nice overall. The bad--the noisiest hotel stay I've experienced in my life, literally. While I understood that the facilities are in the midst of being renovated, I didn't realized that included drilling at 6 AM and other construction sounds (banging, sawing, and the crew's music blasting in the hallway). This continued on Easter Sunday, (which I thought was a holiday that would bring me relief), and the two nights prior the room next to mine had loud parties, so I was sleep deprived the entire trip. Absolutely no housekeeping at all during my stay. I reserved an accessible room, but was dismayed to get one that was not. It was so late when I checked in (after midnight), and I was so exhausted, I accepted the regular room, although a move to an accessible suite was offered, and asked for a shower chair which was delivered within minutes. On Good Friday evening around 7:30 PM, I arrived to find the first two handicapped spaces nearest to the door to be occupied by two workmen's pick up trucks (without handicapped placards or license plates), five or six workmen, proceeding to perform mechanical work under one of the vehicles-- all why leaving their tools on the sidewalk leading to my car, parked in handicapped spot number three. Because they were blocking the sidewalk, it was difficult for me to maneuver the luggage cart to unload my car and move items to my room. Upon checking out, I was offered 1000 points to be added to my IHG One Rewards, which I accepted. I asked when the renovations were expected to be completed, and was told an estimated time frame of July 2024. Given all the aggravation involved, I don't recommend staying there until it's completed, at the very least.

bad Your Front desk employee that goes by the name of Lisa called us and gave a bunch of wrong info. Pretty sure she is working remotely. As soon as she found out that she dialed a wrong number, she hang up the phone. We called her to re-connect but she gave a lousy alibi saying she is just using a mobile phone. How can a front desk staff use just a mobile phone for business calls? When we demanded for the manager, she said "She is the manager." We have the call recording here as a proof of her lies and her poor representation of the company named Saphire Properties, managing Staybridge Suites. She was very condescending and unapologetic.
