Nice stay In the area to go to the hall of fame. Easy drive to it, with plenty around to eat and places to shop. The hotel seemed somewhat recently updated. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was as expected. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage; bread, apples, yogurt, cereal. It was not warm enough for the pool, so not sure how that looked. Only downfall was the check in lady wasn’t friendly at all. She was also there the next morning, and was just as miserable. Good stay at a good price though.

We Always Choose this Quality Inn Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff, decent on-the-go breakfast included, great price! Having to spend quite a few overnights because of our granddaughter in college, this place can't be beat for all of the things you need provided for a short stay.

Miserable Stay This is a 3 star hotel so I wasn’t expecting much other than cleanliness which isn’t a lot to ask for. I did advise the front desk of a dog hair allergy and her response was that all the rooms are dog friendly but you’d never know it after the porters clean. Well, we knew it as soon as we walked in the room as we were hit in the face hard with an unbearable nasty, big drooling, rabid dog stench (think Cujo, it was disgusting.) It wasn’t even about the allergies at that point but I could definitely feel tightness in my chest straight away. I advised the front desk clerk we may need to change rooms but her response was the same (yet more condescending) all the rooms are pet friendly and we don’t know which rooms dogs have been in. (You must know because you charge a $35 fee per stay so you lie.) But as I said, it was no longer about the allergies but more about the nauseating smell. The windows don’t even open a crack and I couldn’t check out fast enough in the morning. I am extremely annoyed with the front desk clerk for her lack of customer accommodation and tone. The next morning, a really nice young lady named Justine helped me check out. She told me the same thing about the dog rooms but that she would have changed ours. Wish she had been working at check in. Since I’m leaving a review, I’ll also comment on the cleanliness since that was all I was hoping for. There was hair under the bars of soap, hair in the shower, food/debris in the fridge handle crevice and a dirty room card. The shower curtain was hung inside out with the tag facing outward and several visible surfaces were either dusty or grimy. This was definitely a miserable hotel stay.

Will visit again! Best customer service! We noticed a smell from the AC/heating unit and the front desk woman was so nice and accommodating. She quickly moved us into a new room - no smell at all. The room is very clean but dated. Bed is comfy. Bathroom clean. Fridge and microwave clean. Everything works as expected. Great location - close to stores and SUNY Oneonta. Will be back!!

3rd Time Staying Stayed here for the 3rd or 4th time. The room and hallway had a funky smell but nothing overpowering. The room was nice and warm for a very cold day outside. Staff was friendly as usual. Free breakfast is great in the morning. It would be nice to have an indoor pool. The rate is very reasonable. The pub is not open on the weekends which is when we stayed. The prices for the pub look very reasonable and it’s totally understandable if they cannot staff it for the weekends as everyone is short staffed right now. We will be back again when in the area.
