Ayres Hotel Orange

Great visit to Orange... Location is great; helpful staff; excellent room. Plenty of great restaurants around and downtown Orange was interesting, lots of antiques and food. Hotel was close to Angels Stadium and obviously, Disneyland.

Great location Stayed here for 2 nights and the team was helpful. I didn’t get close to Disneyland but I didn’t plan right. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast with minimal options. Hotel seemed clean but there was a earring under bed.

__ Awesome hotel! Catered to all my needs. Breakfast could have had more variety. Considering that things are normalizing from the pandemic, I expect it to get better with time. Overall a great, relaxing stay!

An overnight or two maximum - avoid long term Stayed for 1 week, in two different rooms. Twin on first floor for a night, then king on 3rd floor for remaining period. THE GREAT - first night, in room 102 with a view facing the patio and car park. - Uninterrupted wifi. - good size room and very quiet. After moving to room 312, things went downhill. After moving to room 312, things went downhill. THE GOOD - Comfortable leather sofa (it was a sofabed but we did not open it up). - Very good bath towel set and bathroom amenities. The Conair hair dryer worked great. - Room lighting was generally very good. - Room had mini-fridge and microwave oven. - Air-conditioning worked well; easy to use wall control and AC unit under window. - Window had sheer and black-out drapes as well as side and top panels. Window glass was clean and clear. - Water pressure in shower and at sink had great flow. Hot water came quite quickly. - Nice large LG flat panel television with DirectTV. Plenty of channels. Clean remote control. - Hand sanitizer at elevator area on ground floor usually filled. - Check-in was friendly and easy. - Good number of electrical outlets around room. THE SO-SO - There was an in-room safe. - no bottled water is offered at check-in or in the room. - The shower had a handheld showerhead (nice), but it was mounted very high. THE VERY BAD (Room 312) - Wifi signal was atrocious throughout the 1 week stay. Reported a few times and was told is probably an issue with my laptop and smartphone. Very unhelpful. - Room clean is done once every 4 days (this is after lockdown had been lifted). One thing about minimizing covid is good hygiene. The hotel gets an ‘F’ on this. - Soundproofing was horrendous. Can hear traffics from the room and footsteps above and the room next door. It may be due to poor construction. This makes holding meetings in my room a challenge. - Face masks weren’t always worn by guests and staff (Brian). That is a worrying consider the rise of Variant D. - Some complimented how good the bed was. This is strictly personal choice, for me, I find it too soft and very uncomfortable for the back. - Not once did I see anyone sanitize the lifts, which again consider covid & the importance of good hygiene, it was concerning. Three major let down, Hygiene, noise, and wifi. I will not be in a hurry to return to this hotel or recommend a friend.

Excellent hotel and staff with some remarks. I rated the hotel 5 stars due to good location..free parking, free brakfast and comfortable beds and pillows but as i want to stay here every year i will say some comments 1.rooms has no safe but you should use front desk safe. 2.brakfast contains meat products all made from pork this prevent muslims from eating it while if made from beef or chicken all people can eat it. 3.water pressure was sometimes weak in 3rd floor during the day not at night. 4. Location of the air conditioning in the room is very clos to the bed needs to be transferred to the ceiling as it may be harmful during sleep. 5. There should be more than one person in the front desk at night. Many thanks for all staff members of the front desk Especially the new trainee woman i am sorry to forget her name but she was very polite and helpful...really many thanks for the whole staff. I need to know the source and type of pillows to buy 2 of them
