This had to be the most horrific and frightening stays I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend anyone ever stay at this hotel. We frequently travel with my granddaughter for competition dance and prefer stay at Holiday Inn and Suites because they have always been so welcoming. I have never been treated the way I was treated on July 5, 2025. The front desk attendant, Fabian, overcharged me for 3 rooms booked through a 3rd Party. When I questioned Fabian about the price difference, the other clerk started calling security in an attempt to scare me. I had asked for all 3 rooms together and Fabian refused to accomodate my request, giving me 1 room on the 1st floor, 1 room on the 2nd floor and 1 room on the 3rd floor. I, thinking of what would be easier in an emergency, and although I am handicapped, took the room on the third floor because there was an elevator, my daughter took the 1st floor because she has 3 children, one of which is autistic and one is a toddler. I gave my neice the one on the second floor because she has 2 children and my grandson, that was with me is autistic but older than the rest so in an emergency, it would be easier to get him down the stairs. When the elevator opened, the smell of citrus was so overwhelming,I had a sever allergic reaction to a cleaner used in the elevator (I have anaphylaxis from citrus). I immediately had to use my epi pen and inhaler. I walked to the front desk in an attempt to get my room changed because I would not be able to stay in the upper floors because of the cleaner. When I arrived at the front desk, I had used another epi pen and inhaler but was struggling to breath. Jesus was at the desk at this time. I was attempting to explain I was highly allergic to the cleaner amd wanted to see if the room could be switched. For some reason, 2 of the rooms were placed in my daughter's name although I paid for all of the room. I was struggling to explain to Jesus what was wrong but could not get anything out. Jesus took no notice that I was struggling to breath until my husband arrived and told him what was happening. We attempted to get the room switched but Jesus refused to even work with us because the room was booked in my daughter's name. Jesus said my daughter would have to come to the desk, with her ID, to approve it. In the interim, I had to take another epi shot and inhaler. I face timed my daughter so she could show him her ID, she would have had to bring all of the children out in the rain if I hadn't called, Jesus finally agreed to give us a 1st floor room after about 10-15 minutes. By the time I got to the room, I was covered in sweat having chills, wheezing and needing to really just lay down. I aways developed laryngitis and bronchitis when I have such a severe reaction. I to take 50mg of Benadry to help decrease the inflammation on top of 2 wpi pens and 6 inhaler attempts. I continued to have respiratory difficulties all evening, unable to enjoy the banquet and finals of the dance competition. I continued to have difficulty that entire night, and knew it would be difficult to drive 12+ hours home to Kentucky, but had no choice in doing so. Our drive home was extended due to my need for restbreaks because of my breathing and chills, which continued well into the middle of this week. I did speak with the manager, Doris, the next morning, explaining everything from the over charging, the threat of security being called because I questioned why I was paying almost doubled and the nonresponsivness of the staff to recognize a potential medical emergency. The Doris was very kind and understanding, she was the best part of the stay. I am very disappointed by this experience.

Please read all my comments I want to start the review with saying this is a great budget hotel for those going to Disney. We were just disappointed with the reviews that made it out to be much better than it actually is. The rooms are tired and a bit grubby, the pool area needed a good scrub, the shuttle service to Disney was questionable and very limited so be very aware of that as they only go to Epcot and Hollywood studios. The location is good and the staff are great, but after 5 mights we moved to Disney property as it just wasn’t worth the difference in price
