DISGUSTING! My skin was crawling when I entered this hotel room. It was filthy. There was hair all over the floor. There was no hot water, and the water knobs in the shower were broken, so I had to hold them up and in place to turn the water on. None of the hotel staff did anything to make the situation better. I am going to have to get a Covid test when I get home, because nobody cleaned this room before we arrived. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Lovely area, hotel rooms in dire need of updating I stayed here for 3 nights in November 2020. It was my first time in Tucson. Oro Valley is far from the freeway and I found there to be a lack of freeways in Tucson. It does take time to get anywhere on surface streets. Oro Valley is new and beautiful compared to the older parts of Tucson. We visited the East and West Suguaro National Park, Mt. Lemmon, Catalina State Park (very close to the hotel), downtown Tucson and San Xavier del Bac Mission Church. It seemed to take at least 45 minutes to drive anywhere. If you want a more central location Oro Valley, far north of Tucson, may not be for you. The hotel exterior and lobby were very nice. There was a limited hot breakfast due to Covid. There are a few restaurants adjacent to the hotel. As others have mentioned, the hotel rooms are dated and in dire need of an upgrade. The faucets were loose, carpets dirty, pillows were lumpy and cheap and it felt more like a Motel 6 experience than a Marriott property. I wouldn't recommend staying at this property until the hotel rooms have gone through a complete remodel. I also found the hotel walls paper thin. I was able to nearly make out what the people in the next room were saying. If you are sensitive to noise, bring a white noise machine with you.

Overnight stay with family I stay at a lot of Fairfield Inn’s because of their consistency of quality and clean rooms. This particular property seems a little run down. The woman at the front desk was not friendly (the following morning crew was much improved). No hot water in the shower (lukewarm at best). Air conditioner sounded like a prop plane at idle. Due to COVID, the pool and gym are closed. The breakfast buffet is also closed. They do offer free breakfast bars, yogurt, packages of instant oatmeal and coffee in the morning. Due to the local wild fires, there are fire fighters staying at the hotel. The staff is offering them free snacks and Gatorade as a way of saying “thanks.” A thoughtful gesture.

Excellent staff. But desperately needs to be remolded !! North of the city and twelve miles from the freeway. This location is north of the city and twelve miles from the interstate. The rooms and bathroom was very clean but the main thing is the property is very dated and the complete property needs to be remolded and updated. Wonderful and very helpful staff. Very close to the Mount Lemon turn off. A must see if you are in the area.
