Quality Inn Oskaloosa

Misleading pictures, terrible breakfast, warm AC. I was confused by the pictures put up by "management" a few months ago because nothing I saw here looked anything like the pictures. I took a star off for that - very misleading!! First the good: The room seemed clean and there was a nice woody-vinyl type floor. I really enjoyed that because motel carpet kind of grosses me out. An associate of mine said that not all rooms were like that and they had carpet. Now the bad: Fridge was pretty warm, I couldn't get it as cold as I wanted. The AC was kind of swampy and I could never get the room as cool as I like. The morning I checked out I stood in front of it and despite being set as cold as possible, it was just blowing room-temp air. The TV was old and kind of small. There were no options to log into my streaming services, just cable. The "breakfast" was awful. NOWHERE NEAR as good as the "management" pictures showed. There were no eggs, no waffles, no pancakes. There was COLD biscuits and gravy that had a dogfood-esque flavor. The juice from the machine tasted like juice that had 75% extra water added to it. And those things are only after I talked to the desk person. Before that, the juice machine was not even on, and there were no plates out. I would have rated this much higher if that breakfast hadn't been SO TERRIBLE!

A Great Place to Stay What a Great place! Two of us stayed 2 nights during the Nationals up at nearby Knoxville Raceway. Proprietor Mike took real good care of us. Nice clean hotel, recently remodeled. Clean as a whistle. Great beds and sheets, pillows, etc. The place was QUIET, too! Nicely redone bathroom. Towels and linen was first notch. The small breakfast in the morning was fresh and satisfying and got us on the way. A little out of the way location, but easy to find. Nice parking area is well light. We really enjoyed the stay here. Hope to be back next year, as well. Thanks, Mike!

Excellent stay for reasonable price Newly renovated and awesome staff. Great place to get a good nights rest. We always enjoy staying here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We plan to stay here in the future. It has been remodeled in the past year and looks great.

Newly remodeled, clean and quiet Hotel was recently remodeled. Everything was so clean and new. Beds were heavenly. Breakfast wasn't great but I'm not picky about that. I saw there was a nice restaurant right around the corner if you need a big breakfast. There are no elevators - I didn't need them but maybe that's important for you. It was a bit of a distance from the main highway but the upside was it was quiet. My friends and I just made this a stopover on our way to the Pella Tulip Festival so met our needs.

Great Stay! We stayed on our trip to the Tulip Festival in Pella. Hotel is conveniently located to Pella and surrounding attractions. Very clean and recently remodeled. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.
