Nice property Stayed July 19 through July 21, 2024. Check in was quick. Room 702 was clean. Everything worked. Bed was comfortable, and the room had a work area, plus a chair and ottoman. Air conditioning worked well and thermostat was on the wall near the center of the room so temperature was even. Had breakfast July 20 at the hotel restaurant, which had recently opened, and food and service was good. Price was $200 per night total, plus another $50 per night withheld for amenities.

Bad Night Sleep First review ever written, worse sleep I’ve had, creaky floor above, toilet made constant dripping sound, ability to turn AC fan on instead of auto disabled so you have to listen to it while trying to fall asleep. When I politely informed the desk while checking out they didn’t even acknowledge my comment and just said “have a nice day” which I took as “tough”

Better than it used to be, but still a work in progress Really giving the 4 stars for how much better the place is than the prior dumps in this location. As a Holiday Inn...it was more of a 2-3 but they are trying to get it improved. This location has a history of nasty hotels, party hotels and bugs. We needed a spot to stay close to Aztec Theatre where we were going for New Years Eve. The prices were really low compared to other hotels and it looked like the hotel was nice....and I'm a platinum member so we decided to try it. The restaurant was closed for remodeling so that was the first disappointment, but we actually went to a local kids restaurant thinking it would not be busy for NYE (and we were right). The room was clean, the bedding looked new and fresh, towels were thick and new, and the lobby was very nice with a nice sitting area to watch TV. Service was lovely upon check-in. The parking lot was a challenge to find as the hotel is right next to the interstate and the signs going in look like the "Do Not Enter" is for that road. Tight parking lot with not much lighting. Cannot believe the pool (outdoor) was open when it was 20 degrees out, but there were kids screaming and yelling, so they were enjoying it. The mattress's were new, but only great for people who like really firm mattresses....and I prefer my soft so I awoke with an aching body...but those who prefer firm may really enjoy it. The oddest thing was the window shears. The windows are placed so you can look directly into the windows of guests across the courtyard so you need to close the shears....but ours looked like a wolverine had stayed there. For such a nice clean renovated room, the shears were absolutely shredded vertically. This meant you could not really close them for privacy. So while the hotel is very much better than it used to be, it still has a ways to go. We were 50/50 if we would stay there again. With my status, we were really hoping for a comp upgrade, but those are not available in this hotel.

Average Average. Room seemed clean but did have a funny smell every time we returned. We booked the breakfast rate hoping for a good cooked to order breakfast, but that was sub-par at best. Nothing major negative but also nothing major positive. Location is pretty good but we did have traffic noise in the night.

Nice stay The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with a waitress not serve yourself like most, so I felt a little spoiled. Parking is plentiful. The only downside is no usb plugs were available in the room.
