Good Budget Traveler We stayed at this Inn on our recent trip across the USA. The rooms were neat and tidy although they were small and compact. Sleep quality was good. Very average breakfast selection. Good location. Good price and would recommend for the budget traveler.

Good stay while in KC! This hotel stay was good for the one night. Clean room and bed, no complaints. The breakfast was ok. Overall a good option for a quick stay/stop in Kansas City.

Good stay! After reading some of the TA reviews, I think we must been very lucky. Our room, while very small, was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well. The only issue we had was there was very little toilet paper when we got there, however a quick trip to the front desk solved that problem. The hotel has a kind of rough feel to it but we had no problems. There are lots of construction workers staying at the hotel. Not a problem but when we went to eat breakfast at 8:30 a.m., there wasn't much left. My wife ended up with the last muffin and some water-down apple juice and an apple. Not exactly what we expected. For the price we paid, it should have been a little better, but hey, you pays your money and you takes your chances. That's travel.

Royals Trip This is an older hotel but has some really nice updates. The room was very clean. Beds were super comfy and lots of pillows. Nice updates in the bathroom and wonderful water pressure in the shower! The staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok... mostly carbs: waffles, cereal, muffins. No protein choices. The hallways still smell old and musty, but overall a very nice place to stay. We will stay again.

Beds and rooms were clean but no SERVICES. The hotel rooms were clean - there were of course some wall damage that was fixed but not very well. The sheets, comforters, and towels were all very nice. But, they did not clean the room once during our stay of 3 nights. No new towels, we had only 2 towels in room that can hold 4 people. The common area furniture was badly stained, the hotel looks to be making some improvements but they have a way to go. When asked at the front desk why our rooms were never cleaned, they said "we can't get any staff" well if you only have staff to take care of part of the hotel, only rent out that part. Or provide me a discount on my room since I will not be receiving ANY services.
